Wow.. Am at a loss of words again for this game.

Right? It looks very nice.

Robin confirmed for the challenge maps if you preorder from Best Buy..

*shakes fist at no Nightwing*

Eh...............Robin will eventually be a DLC option.

Real question is, if he'll be a free DLC like the extra maps on the first Arkham Asylum were, or if you'll have to pay extra for him if you don't preorder. If it's the latter, then to hell with that. I'm preordering.

faint

I came.

This will factually be one of the best games ever.

Saw that a couple of nights ago. It is epic beyond epic

Title of the thread changed to the actual name of the game.

What the--- Nighwing's in this?!!! 😱

Overall, it still astounds me how Arkham Asylum not only created an example of how damn good a licensed game can be but how amazingly everything came together. It'll be even more-so with Arkham City.

Like him or hate him, it seems Batman is the one comic superhero to cause the most paradigm shifts in comics, film, and video games. In plenty ways I wish the same could be said for Superman... *looks at Superman 64 and the Superman Returns game*

That looks...f*cking AWESOME! Why the hell did they cancel that?!?

Why indeed. Nothing short of a game of that caliber will erase the memories of Superman 64 and every game of his that sucked (which would be like all of them) from every Superman fans' broken hearts, not to mention Superman IV: The Quest for Peace... But I guess I shouldn't be one to talk about that considering the existence of Batman & Robin.

Well the Arkham games have helped erase that memory

Tell me about it...

12 minutes of gameplay footage

Huh. About that cancelled Superman game, I just decided to look at the description for that video, and it said Factor 5 was working on that game for Brash Entertainment, but after Brash went out of business in November 2008, the project was cancelled. Was going to be released for both the 360 and PS3 too... At least now we know it wasn't an intentional cancel, but shit happens when you go out of business.

As for that 12 minute gameplay footage of Arkham City, I've decided I'm not gonna watch anymore of that for now so as to not spoil too much of the game for myself.

I think I'm done on spoilers too. Lots of greatness in the vid though.
