We've gotten some late additions to the judging ranks. I'll post the assignments in the fight posts tomorrow. If for some reason a judge has to be swapped out, I'll announce it in the relevant thread. And thanks to all the judges who have volunteered their time and energy to contribute to the tourney. 😄

I think most of my post will be taken up with a repeat of the rules and various other housekeeping items. I doubt I'll have room to post two large strategies, so just post them yourselves when you feel comfortable. We don't have a hard deadline to end the first round so there's no big rush to get everything in.

Otherwise we can't guarantee that we'll both post them at the same time. Which could result in Debating Team A posting 3 hours after Debating Team B. This might lead to Debating Team A cheating and including various things in their post that they initially forgot. Basically, it gives the second team a chance to "cheat"

What's stopping me from waiting for the other team to post their prep and then modify mine accordingly? Guilt?

Everyone please help make my life easier and spread the word about Pm'ing me the initial posts. Hopefully everyone will be on between now and tomorrow and they'll take the time to check this thread, but its likely some team will miss it.

If everyone could get them in before Monday, Dec. 28 at Noon (EST), it'd be a big help.

BTW, I assume everyone knows that the matches are single elimination. So I wouldn't hold too much back in the first round if you want to make it to the second. 😖hifty:

Yeah, if we had an unlimited amount of time and manpower to devote to this, we could consider something more elaborate. But as it stands, I think a classical single elimination tournament will be the easiest way to get through this in a reasonable amount of time. 😬
