Having absolutely nothing to do with the tournament itself. Shameless plug, X-Man respect thread version 2.

Now that this tourney is done, I can go back to work on it. stoned
Originally posted by "Id"It was very close. Wasn't so much a shortcoming on your prep, but that Leo/Galan had a prep plan which was near perfect for the circumstances, imo. Just about every Leo match I've judged has been one sided in his team's favor. I had to write a checklist while voting tonight just to sort through points and counter points.
Oh I just come here to argue. You take away any bit of an advantage from me, pretty much guarantees I storm in looking for some drama. But yeah, I knew what Leo/Galan where up to the moment they finalized their draft. And I also knew my teams own short comings. So if the strategizing part cost us the match, that’s my own fault. I came up with the prep/strategy, Kandy does most of the refuting because he simply better at it then me.
If you and KK team up for another tourny you'll be a force.

I should have focused on illustrating a less counterable offensive plan... it seems like every match i've ever been in, i've been criticized for spending too much time illustrating ways to resist my opponents, but little for overcoming them.
yeah, that was something we tried highlighting. taking down smurph in the semi is a major kudos for you guys and this match was obviously extremely close. each time out you guys get a little better . . .
and a thanks again to bats for going solo and a huge thanks to the judges who actually got their votes in faster than i've ever seen!
anyway, i'm alrealy bored. when 's the next tournament start . . .? 😄

😆Actually we are quite proud to make it to the finals. Look at the quality of our opponents, and then keep in mind that in each match an insert of our prep/strategy/etc.. was removed. And despite the fact we only loss by a split decision.
You brought it on yourself with the Peyton gif. uhuh
Seriously though, great match. Coming down to the wire is always a good thing, especially for tourney finals. It signifies that we had the right teams in the last match.
Congratulations to leo/Galan.
