batdude is a sellout

I've been the vocal one, but Batdude's put in just as much work. Teamwork ftw. 😎

******Attention********

For all of those using Lanterns in the tournament, we have an announcement. Power Ring duplication and distribution is legal (I imagine most of you were planning on doing that anyway). The burden is still on you to prove that your non-Lantern character can actually use the rings, however.

I know this might bring up the question of certain characters exceeding the Herald limit. But given the challenge of proving that other characters can use the ring and the other ways I'm sure some of you are planning to mesh each of your team's powers, were going to give people some wiggle room here.

Alright! We have our teams:

Team psycho charlotte - Kyle Rayner (GL), Zatanna, Tangent Superman

Team darthgoober & Blair Wind - Silver Surfer, Dr. Doom, Eradicator

Team: id369 and King Kandy - Genis-Vell, Quasar, Onslaught

Team Philosophia and PR - Hal Jordan (GL), Superman, Martian Manhunter

Team Leonidas & Galen007 - Blue Superman, Loki, Atrocitus

Team Kris Blaze & KM - Captain Comet, Beta Ray Bill, Talisman II/Shaman

Team Omega Vision & JL King - Wally West (Flash), All Star Superman, Swamp Thing

Team JaketheBank - Thor, Cyborg Superman, Sinestro

Have the judges been announced yet ?

IMO, you should have judges that have never judged before. Especially in a tourney like this. You don't want anyone claiming biases and finger pointing behind closed doors.

So I just read Blackest Night #6, now I understand where this whole ring duplication talk is all about. Haha Quick someone draft Lobo, Hulk, and Atrocious.peaches

funnily enough, it's not the first instance, but it really hammers the point home...

So no one is drafting Sinistro and god of fear combination?

Kyle commented that his ring lacks the function of ring duplication, which Hal and the rest of the corps had.

Sinistro is already drafted.

Jake has Sinestro and Cyborg Superman. 😈

It it was me, I would draft Mongul and duplicate like 30 rings one for each finger.

was that before or after he rejoined the corps after being kylellax?

Wrong on "The Rest of the Corps". The big deal with self-replication only was related to the Leader's Ring (Hal's one, that's why Hal lended the ring to Kyle).
So no rings for any non-flagship GLs (not only for Kyle, but for Mongul etc). According to the big deal with The Leader's Ring, only Hal, Sinestro and any other flagshipper can duplicate their rings. Not Kyle, Guy, Mogo, Mongul etc (if Mongul could duplicate the rings why was he killing Sinestro Corps folks).

ring duplication was a secret 😛

hence why mongul didn't do it.

and blackest night pretty much contradicts all of that, no?

My boyfriend who's an expert on Kyle said there's a "Leader's Ring" thing in work. Though I don't know why it's Hal as the only one of GLs allowed the duplication when both Kyle and Guy outrank him...seems nonsensical.

Blackest Night also confirms that Kyle's rings protocols are no different from the others in the corps; I smell retcon?

honestly, that's news to me.

he just got a new ring after being freed from parallax, iirc.

Alex (my BF) says nothing like that was shown on panel AFAHR, though probably presumed since its protocols during the Blackest Night seemed no different from regulars...

And given Kyle knows the theory of ring duplication...well, he's no longer discriminated in that department.
