Yes. You're not adding any extra powers, just charing the power concentrated in one ring between some number. So if you create gazillion rings, they're still as powerful collectively as starting one on its own.
Multiple rings, thus, provide cool visual but not much else. No definite strategical advantage IMO.
50% actually goes a long way 😛

And given that without battery it's practically showing off...well, the point is moot (just like Sinestro making rings for Cyborg Supes is allowed, they're going to be less powerful than standart GL rings under that premise).

It does. Besides it all depends when in the battle one would decide to ring dupe. Sharing the versatility of a power ring to press an advantage or turn the tide would be a good strategy, IMO.
i agree. you're not always going to use it, but when you do, it's not bad at all.

I know, darling. It's just that tactics with 30 rings or so are stupid...
To bad Khan and Batz banned the power battery. Luckily Nega and Quantum bands don’t have those kinds of restrictions.

And the fact that all the multiple rings are basically sharing the power supply of one makes the tactic of ring duplication legitimate, it seems.
i don't think they're sharing the same power supply, tbh. if you mean halving that power supply to make the second ring, then yes, but each ring would be it's own individual weapon. would just not be fully charged.

i thought AFTER they made that proclamation they then decided to discuss the issue further, no? 😕
it was their claim that made people question it, so i thought they were still talking it out. too many threads for this thing, too many discussions in too many places to follow. 😬

No, the decision was made in response to a specific question sent to us by PM. We did not anticipate the uproar that would result because of it and we are currently trying to find a solution to this issue that everyone will find equitable.
I apologize that we did not foresee this particular hitch in the road, but we on the job trying to fix it. 🙁
