It was because she was charging towards me with a steak knife prepared to stab me.
I knocked her goddamn ass out onto the floor.
So, self defense. The 5-0 were there and took my statement.

One time some chick was pissed off at me, and was trying to punch me in the face.
I didn't hit her, but I did dodge/block every single one of her punches (I'm pretty agile, thanks to MMA), and I did kind of lifted her leg with mine to throw her off balance, grabbed her arms and went behind her. It looked like I was trying to handcuff her. I held her like that until she chilled out. She was hot. We're friends now.
I don't think she was going to stop if i hadn't have did that.
