LSD hasn't nearly the toxicity of alcohol. Simple.

Well, I'm an atheist and I find your banality and you very poor grammar and spelling offensive.

The correct way you sentence should read is:

"Okay, first, I'm Christian and I find that offensive. Secondly, do you need therapy? You're scaring me." Write that down, junior.

The Beatles were so high during the late 60's and early 70's that they even let Ringo sing a couple of tunes.

Just take the song "Yellow Submarine". Tell me that they weren't partying!

(Yes, this is all the material of Bill Hicks. Sue me.)

GOD DAMN IT! LEAVE ME ALONE WITH THE SPELLING ALREADY!!! 😠

B-b-b-but.............I thought you were a "cristain".

What would Jesus do? 🙁

Um... what do you mean "how"? It's a fact that alcohol is more toxic. It's scientifically established. LSD is powerful but doesn't have any discovered lethal dose. Animals have been given tons and tons of the stuff and it still does no harm.

LSD has no L.D. 50? Huh. Never knew that, personally.

are you just saying that to piss me off? 😠

Apparently, I already have.

Way to break Commandment #3.

You're the one who got all "😠" for having been corrected.

It's theorized to have one laying between 200 µg/kg to 1 mg/kg. So picking a median value, and average human body weight, you should have to take on average of 52 milligrams; an impossibly large dose of the stuff for anyone to take.

And that's based on sketchy figures with little backing them up, since there's not one confirmed case of any test subject dying from LSD overdose. Well, not quite. There is one case of a guy dying after injecting himself with a third gram of LSD... whatever drove him to do that, I have no idea, as it's preposterously above the average dose. Hell, I don't have a clue where he even GOT that much.

Alcohol's lethal dosage is higher than that, but far far closer to the amount people actually use. Since LSD is active at the 250 microgram range, nobody should ever even get close to the suspected lethal dose.

After reading that, I wonder how Hunter S. Thompson lived long enough to commit suicide.

It seems to me that you, in fact, are the one itching for a fight.

I'm trying to open your eyes to the bitter irony of the situation.

You, yourself, said that Scythe's post about "there is no god!" was offensive to you because you are, in fact, a Christian.

Theeeeeeen...................you turn right around and say to me "GOD DAMN IT!"

Hypocrisy at it's finest. I lol'd.

Believe me, LSD was the least dangerous thing he was using. And a few sheets of blotter acid isn't even close to the lethal dose, even if you took it all in one sitting. You're a lot more likely to OD on aspirin than LSD.

I've only done acid 2 times in my entire life, and I swore to never do it again. I had bad trips both times. So, I'm really not that knowledgeable about LSD. Unless you want to know about a bad trip, that is.

I've read Fear and Loathing many times, and every time I read about his encounter with adrenochrome, it creeps me out.

The adrenochrome account was admitted to be either fabricated, or highly exaggerated. Remember, even though a lot of it is based on stuff that happened to Thompson, it IS still a novel.

This is true.

There is a chemical called adrenochrome in animals, but all it does is reduce bleeding. Sometimes it's used as a dietary supplement.

I wonder what the Beatles were partying on to write "Yellow Submarine". Pretty trippy shit. Awesome song, though.

That one they always denied ever being on anything while writing it. I don't buy it though. Probably written on acid like "I am the walrus" was.
