For some reason only the ruler of the twili gets the "shadow" powers and Zant had previously wanted to marry Midna so he could become King and obtain the power(Or something like that, I'm playing through TP again cause I'm bored).

The "light speed" movement is a single, obviously hyperbolic and isolated statement which applies only to one, probably non-cannon special move in Dissidia. He doesn't move that fast. If he did, he wouldn't need to pilot a plane-Ohhh waaait. Wasn't that one of those big plans he had? You only need to go mach 22 to escape the gravity of a planet, and he couldn't even do that. 😬 Cloud can react to Sephiroth's movements, Cloud is OBVIOUSLY FASTER THAN LIGHT! I think its obvious the power of an exploding star is only supposed, it does not actually cause that damage, it merely makes your opponent believe it.
And all your little rant means nothing, your bringing up nonsense that may not make any difference to Sephiroth using lightspeed, it may take some time to activate it and its obviously not his base speed, but it could be a magical ability.
IF it is, and it's clearly not an ability he has at all, it would apply only to moving close to the character, and nothing else, according to the 'statement', as it applies to one special, and neverbefoarseen! move in Dissidia. But no, my little rant just destroyed everythign FC's been trying to claim, because it makes no sense in the context of the FF7verse.
It's hyperbole, it's not an ability he's ever shown before, it defies all FF7 canon, it's got nothing to back it up, it's illogical, and Sephiroth obviously cannot move that fast. And nah, it's not light speed, the only thing the statement even applies to is when he shows up next to his opponent. The move on;y even showed up in what amounts to a fighting game and they all have something like it. Maybe every FF character evar is FTL? Hahaha. No.

Unless ofc it is an ability that only goes very short distances, takes a long time for him to charge/recharge or perhaps the developers did not pull it out of a hat yet? if hes got it now, hes got it now..you cant wine about how he never used it in the films....just like Link didnt use his 1000 ton strength to just dig his way across Hyrule and dodge all the puzzles and exploration elements right?

Your trying to do the same, I am simply making up "shit" to rationalise it from my point of view in the hope youll come to your senses and stop "making up" shit yourself to try and downplay something that exists regardless of how far fetched it is....
Because trying to prove my character can win when there are a load of BS nonsense floating around for the opposing character is pointless. For example If I simply attempted to prove Sephiroth can win against a Ganon who is apprently in the LoZ fanboy world omnipotent I cannot therefore I allow the LoZ side to prove Ganon can do the things they banter about.
Ofc they cannot which is why Ganon and Link get beheaded by Sephiroth.
