An art from close friend of mine (though actually for my close friend by wife of my close friend) on topic.

I disgusted by the debate... My opinion on that is a)Bayonetta has 'smart" looks combined with over the top dumb whore behaviour (over the top even by Dante's standarts minus ridiculous Lucifer cutscene) thus... I can't say I like the character though I can get what most males are drooling at; the game was nice actionwise, though, even though it's all about dumb beyotch (BTW there's hints on shared universe, like the diaries of Tony Redgrave (Dante's civilian ID in times of being a mercenary);
b) whoever says Dante is gay...let's look closer at his relationships- Lady is not a possible relationship for simple reason- she's mortal, and Dante (from his hunter\mercenary experience) knows that sometimes that's too mortal, and Trish...well, even more fans would be pissed off if the creators of the game have him openly date her- Oedipus complex is not that cool, and with the question left open...

Anyways, I think Dante gets close win...better combat speed+time manip powers (Quicksilver\Time Bangle\Chrono Heart) and it's not like Dante hasn't fought enemies in space-like environments\dimensions (DMC1, Mundus fight; same weird kind of "space" as one in Bayonetta final scene- bearing little resemblance to real life one).

Kratos isn't gay and he has never done anything homo-related. The timeline Dante is in makes shirtless men wearing weird trench coats look gay.
