Bayonetta VS Dante

Started by BloodRain4 pages

That'd take her trump card away 😐

Bayonetta takes Dante down and she doesn't even have to summon Queen Sheba.

For one, Bayonetta is strong enough to carry a bus with one hand, use street light poles as clubs, and can throw a huge two-headed dragon. Let's not forget that she has magic and can slow down time. On top of all that, she's pretty damn fast.

Nero?

Nero...? Oh yeah Nero had high strength too that didnt cause Dante trouble. And Quicksilver>Witch time.

Why couldn't Capcom make Dante this powerful 😛 ?

Anyway, he seals her in a dimension with Yamato (atleast I think he does), if he can't kill her, or atleast Jackpots her into Hell.

Nero is barely in Bayonetta's league. Also, Dante lost his Quicksilver after DMC3. Bayonetta uses her Witch Time more and, gameplay-wise, can do it much easier.

That's if Dante can even put much hurt into her. Besides, Dante isn't even going to see or touch Bayonetta since she can be invisible and intangible unless faced by angels or demons (who can do the same).

I find it wierd he lost QS. Also if thread maker were to say Dante with "all" his powers, then I'd think he gets to use everything he achieved prior...even if he didn't possess all of them at once.

Have not played any DMC before 4 but...Dante never dealt with invisible people? Intangibles?

This one dude online messaged me saying a boss telekinetically threw a building at Bayonetta and she just shrugged and HEADBUTTED the thing back at it! ROFL, and how lady-like...ermm

Kinda surprised Bayo has been made more powerful than Dante. Reeks of BS especially considering they're practically made by the same dude (guess he works for both Sega and Capcom)...which still makes me think Dante is above Bayo, because I wouldn't think the guy would create Bayo more powerful.

From what I could gather from the OP (nothing), Dante is allowed all of his previous equipment UNLESS someone has evidence that Dante broke, lost, etc, QS. I'm not just talking about that he didn't have it in one of his sequels, either.

DMC4 comes first, and then DMC3. And I doubt he "lost" it. Besides, he has Keys of Chronos.

He can see invisible beings and tough intangible beings.

You got it backwards. DMC3 was when he met Lady and hadn't met Trish yet. Trish and Lady were both in DMC4 and Dante never used any time power (only Nero used the Keys of Chronos). I know my DMC games pretty well.

When has Dante seen invisible things or even defeated intangible beings? Don't mention those octopus-like demons in DMC3 because they're weak and can be brought out of their gas state pretty easy.

Yeah, that's what I meant, my bad.

I'll get back to that later.

This goes for all vs threads created with Bayonetta in it and the one's to come...actually I'll post this in the Bayonetta vs Dante thread as well.

When it comes to punching the Buddha statue looking thing in the sun, Bayo's hair (which is her weapon) was merging with another females hair, that being the "white/non-gothic" version of Bayonetta which is like her counterpart. That doesn't count as a feat for Bayonetta, but a feat of Bayonetta+white-haired-chick's-name, although Bayonetta does contribute half of the power, I would say.

I don't remember her merging powers with Jeanne (the white/non-gothic Bayonetta). Perhaps I missed it?

I remember seeing white hair go into the big form `,`was that it?

It's a tie, Hideki Kamiya said so...seriously, and so is Veiwtiful Joe. Gonna try and find the link to it.

I do not know if someone has done this yet, but I need to clarify on the sun punching feat.

First of all, she was channeling Satan. Which I am pretty sure she cannot always do.

Second, she did not actually punch random generic angelic statue boss' actual BODY to the sun, look at it, she knocked her soul out of the body and sent it to the sun. So it is not a physical attack, but a soul one.

So yeah.

Oh and Dante wins based on one thing. For some reason, I find both Bayonetta and her game even MORE annoying than Dante and DMC. Maybe it has to do with her being a butterface, maybe it is the shameless sexuality of the game, maybe it is the utter lack of depth to the plot and characters, maybe it is the forced, irritating dialogue, maybe it is my annoyance at the ridiculously stupid fight-scenes (Something DMC also refuses to cease its partake in), maybe it is the convolution of the plot, or maybe it's that ****ing vid of Bayonetta and friends doing ghey dancing. The game's only redeeming quality is that for some reason "Fly Me to the Moon" was in it.

Oh and I guess the combat was pretty good.

It also occured in space, nerfing any physical aspect.

Well the soul thing kind of does that better than space ever could, even the laws of space are not dependant on how "hard" she was punched, it is utterly unquantifiable.

Satan is named Queen Sheba? I guess it makes sense if God (or Jesus) is Jubileus in this game.

Still, that soul is pretty strong if it can crash into a planet, have it explode, and still be able to end Bayonetta's life.

K.

Has nothing to do with her physical durability though.
