Revamped Thor Respect Thread

The new premiere Avengers team's first adventure involves a broken timestream. As multiple time rifts open up in front of the Avengers, it becomes clear that all of reality is visibly breaking down. Half of the Avengers travel forward in time and are ambushed by their future children, the Elder Hulk, and a future Tony Stark. Meanwhile, the other Avengers stay behind in the present to deal with the growing chaos that unfolds all around them... which apparently includes, the Devourer of Worlds.

There are no previews suggesting that Thor will have the Odinforce back.I only mentioned Odinforce as 1 of the options for Thor to beat Glory.And I do agree w/ Colossus Big-C that Glory is above Odin since he has the essence of an entire Pantheon.But so was Thor when he had the Odinforce.

Thor has battled all sorts of foes, including the supernatural. Here, Dracula, the Prince of Vampires has possessed the Lady Sif and feeds off her immortal blood. He declares that it makes him more powerful than he has ever felt in his existence. Thor fights to free her.

Impressive,indeed!

Thor's first fight with Loki in the modern age was entitled, "The Vengeance of Loki" and involved a manic chase throughout the city. Writer, Bryan J.L. Glass, and artist, Tan Eng Huat, preserve parts from Thor saving innocent bystanders from a rushing subway train to Loki's use of animating statues. For the most part though, it's updated with a more modern sensibility and gets rid of Loki's original and unexplained weakness to water and his ultimate capture.
