Matt Fraction does indeed writes some absurd dialogue.

That being said, considering how Thor typically fights the Hulk (ie. down on Hulk's level), I don't find the comment all that offensive as a Thor fan as conventionally, Thor and Hulk stalemate more often than not. Just because a single writer is of that opinion, or writes Thor having that opinion, doesn't make it the gospel and be-all end-all as it pertains to the characters, especially considering Thor has beaten Hulk before.

For the record, even if Thor did in fact mean he could never beat the Hulk -doesn't make much sense but whatever- that doesn't in itself mean that his admitting Hulk would beat him.

Seriously, this was an insanely great showing for Thor.

Hey is there a scan of Thor speedblitzing Pluto's minions?I think it was in Thor#199 were Pluto's minion stated "The Thunder God is everywhere!" That will be a good speed feat.

Actually that sentence could be interpreted differently. We know that Thor in the past never peak against Hulk because of Banner and thus could not Beat him... that could be what he meant. And Hulk saying " I KNEW" was the key phrase here. He knew than...but not sure now that Thor is going quite all out. Thus we see Thor's " Did you now". But the last line of Thor's " To be continued, banner" was a tongue in cheek line for the fans. Seeing that Thor won this fight, the question of who win in Thor/Hulk fight will still rage on.

Just to add im sure its been mentioned regarding the maximum power odin force can generate is it can rip the fabric of the universe hence desroy a universe, this was evident when thor trasported surtur and ymir to another dimension... Whats your view on this ??

Darn my Favourite feet Thor ever did is lifting YggDrasill cause that's is actually lifting the nine realms and all it's weight of planets,stars and whatever.......

Thor is underated strength wise imo.

Really, the only heralds who have strength feats which you can say are superior to Thor are Superman and Hulk.

I don't know about the Superman 1 I meant Superman didn't lift the Midgard Serpent.

I don't think his strenght is underrated. To me, his feats are some of the most impressive in comics.

Superman has an impressive list of strength feats. At the very least, Superman is Thor's equal, and I'd honestly say he edges Thor out in that department, though it's by no means a decisive blow out.

Still, if Hulk and Superman are the only people who can be said to be reasonably stronger than you in your overall tier, you're pretty freaking strong yourself. Besides, he's far more versatile and powerful than either of them, so it works out well.

Hulk having better strength feats is debatable. But yeah he is technically considered stronger...

In the avangers commic issue# 276 did thor absorb all of wrecking crews magic and use it against them?
