Thor knocks Silver Surfer off his board from The Mighty Thor #2
Hugin and Munin represent "thought" and "memory" and usually acted as spies or guides for Odin. Hescamar was an adviser to Odin and even assumed his own persona as Marnot, who helped bring Thor back to the realm of the living and served as a method to put Odin's contingency plan concerning the Dark Gods into motion when he had blocked out all memory of the act himself.
Munin represents all memory of the world and Hugin represents all thought of the world:

They, like Jake said, act as spies, guides, agents or emissaries of Odin.

It's been a while since anyone at Marvel has touched on Blake's considerable surgical skills but it hasn't been completely forgotten:

The Silver Surfer, Herald of the Eater of Worlds Galactus, has arrived in fallen Asgard to demand possession of the Worldheart in Odin's possession. Thor believes his demands to be threats and takes great exception. In the end though... this is but a prelude to the imminent war between Asgard and Galactus.
