couldn't gladiator/hyperion superspeeded the evacuation /thor teleport them

This was more dramatic.

I thought the same thing when I was reading it. Gladiator and Hype only used heat vision and Hulk was punching through the ships and Thor was hammer tossing. Can't wait until the next issue, sounds like Black Bolt will be meeting Thanos at his back door.

it's silly in my opinion. its one thing for characters to not use their whole arsenal in a fight with another character but forgetting abilities that could of potentially averted the tragedy shown is something else and makes unnecessary drama.

Many people know that Thor's 1st appearance was in JIM#83.But in truth, that was Thor's silver age appearance.Thor's first true appearance was in Venus#11(Golden Age appearance). Here's one of the things he pulled off during the time Marvel called themselves Atlas Comics. Here in Venus#13, the city is ravaged by something only known as the Creeping Death.

Tanks and Planes failed to stop the Creeping Death.

Venus goes to Olympus to seek aid in defeating the Creeping Death.

And who does Jupiter/Zeus sends to help Venus vanquish the Creeping Death?Non other than the Thunder God Thor.Thor succeeds where Tanks and Planes failed.

Too awesome not to post:

In his very first real fight, Thor as a young boy is already a master combatant:

A teenage Thor tests the capabilities of Mjolnir:

"It is perhaps, the greatest weapon ever made."

Owns the sons of Laufey, King of the Frost Giants:

Thor awakens from years of slumber in Donald Blake:

"I am the voice of the rain and the will of the wind! I am called Thunder-Bringer! Lightning-Skald! I am the Crown Prince of the Aesir and son of Odin the All-Father! I am THOR!"

Thor's senses and awareness of the world are heightened to a degree too vast for the human mind to comprehend:

"I could hold lightning in my hand. I could sense every drop of rain. I was the rain. I was everything. I was connected to the entire Universe."

Thor's first weeks on Earth:

Lol at the internet comments.

Owns the Fire Lord and his horde:

Beats up the Sons of Laufey again:

In each of his battles against those two, the older brother wielded the deadly God-Killer, a weapon forged from Ymir's body.

Donald Blake showing off his surgical expertise:

He even performs surgery on Odin:

Found this interesting as it suggests Gods age at a rate significantly slower then mortals even as youths:

Another example of Asgard predating the Universe:

Although this suggests that even Thor and his comrades were alive in the time before time.

This page is full of win!

That seems to be the case. There is nothing else stating that something else is going on. Just the fight between them. And it is not the same one that Gorr crashed into as him and present Thor fly away while Old Thor is fighting the necrosword serpent. And in the next issue when Thor has 2 Mjolnirs he shook multiple stars from his blows alone. Pretty much craps on every other Marvel characters striking power in a mere 2 issues. Pretty awesome for Thor fans.

Thanks for the answer and that was indeed a freaking striking feat!!!!

No, it was different. Young Thor knocked Gorr into a black hole/wormhole that dumped them into some undisclosed part of space.

And what about the planets and moons being shattered?

Thor's the only one who was using a blunt weapon, so it's definitely him just breaking apart the planets and moons from the shockwaves of his blows.

^I remember CitizenBane lowballing the sh1t out of the feat with the same old tired garbage arguments of "It's unquantifiable because it's shared", "It was hyperbole", "Only one planet was damaged", "The feat wasn't even Thor's because his opponent(in this case Gorr) is so much more powerful than him" etc. etc.

It was funny to see that even the people who usually agree with him on that board(comicvine) pointed out to him how wrong his analysis was.

Tsk, I'd responded to him before, but the little cowards been ducking me. He's surprisingly hard to reach.
