I thought this was pretty interesting:

Additional proof that Thor possesses trans-dimensional BFR capabilities.

Great thread 👆

You're missing one page from Avengers: The Initiative #34. Here it is:

^ Thanks. Saw it. Didn't reflect that Sentry was having the Void pouring out of him (as it clearly was when Osborn called Bob in Siege #3) so that's why I left it out. Editorial needs to pay more attention.

These errors happen all the time (Ares still wearing his helmet after Sentry grabbed him, for example). At least his eyes were glowing red. I agree, they should pay more attention.

^ To those who would rather not click on speculative spoilers, I thought I might provide an update. This is Thor's last epic battle with the Destroyer before Ragnarok and his return. If anything, it's an exemplary showcase of Thor's durability and godly stamina.

That...was epic. 👆

Has anyone seen the preview/or pictures of things to come in Siege#4?I saw it in IGN.

^ Yes. It looks epic. I'll post scans in time. Until then, here's some more on one of Thor's trademark characteristics...

RESTRAINT

As mentioned before, Thor's pledged never to harm mortals. Especially when it comes to using Mjolnir. But the term, "mortal," is a very loose one when it comes to Thor. He's used the term to apply to clearly mighty opponents whom he's never encountered before. Even on the Avenging Son, Namor, from Avengers #3:

He's definitely made it a point to lighten Mjolnir tosses against all too frail humans, from Thor Annual #3:

But the lines between humans and gods get blurred when it comes to foes like the Wrecker, i.e., a mortal with godly powers. Still it's clear how Thor treasures his life, as he would any other mortal's, "I am sworn to take no life ... not even such as his!" This restraint is evident in many of their frequent fights like when he waits until a non-lethal solution presents itself or when he's merely being tactical and playing possum, from Thor #171 and 430 respectively:

And as was shown earlier against Stellaris, Thor definitely has a soft spot for women, dangerous as they may be. Here, after kicking around Thor for a while, Quicksand realizes that truth, "Ohmigosh! He's far more dangerous than I ever realized! He must have been holding back -- pulling his punches because I'm a woman!" And despite her power, Tempest, one of the Eight Exemplars, also capitalizes on Thor's softness. From Thor #392: and The Eighth Day #1 respectively:

Ultimately, Thor has to use restraint with Mjolnir. Otherwise, things like this happen. Here, Balder councils Thor against Mjolnir's unfettered power when they speak on his nearly killing Rulk in their rematch, from Breaking Into Comics The Marvel Way #2:

According to the writer, it was meant to be the Hulk, not Rulk.

Its weird. The battle between Set and Demogorge(Thors older step brother) was what killed the dinosaurs so it said. Set was suppose to take all the energy from the reptiles in turning regaining full power. What makes Thor hammer even more weird is that yes Odin used it before Thors time, but it states on the hammer its self "Those who are worth will gained the power and strength of Thor". So all those it was Thor hammer at first marvel forgot and let Odin have it before Thors time. Even in mythology the hammer was made right after sif lost her hair. Thor was about to kill Loki with is bare hands.

He's Thor's older half-brother.
Btw.: Thor is also Zeus' uncle and thus Herc's granduncle 😄

Well there are lots of explanations for how historical things happened in Marvel. IIRC there are about half a dozen different explanations for who Jack the Ripper was.

Not to mention the number of times Asgard has been destroyed and reborn due to Ragnarok.

In any case, it shows that the forging of Mjolnir (or at least one of them) is a truly cosmic event.

Not to mentions how Eternals are supposed to fit in continuity. Really, historical things are much more messier that who's-alive-who's-dead in Marvel at a point in time.
