Yeah Marvel is really confusing when it comes to who made earth. They had Odin, celestials and a whole bunch of other stuff. They should atleast keep that clean so its not confusing. How hard is it to say? Only so and so made the people of the earth...

We kind of need scans of killing a certain character here 😖hifty:

the crispy guy at the end of siege? haha

Also the sun feat is a nice one to warrant Thor's durability when it comes to heat is still phenomenally high. Nice speed feat presumably at FTL getting from New York to the sun in a few panels, as well.

The Void dispatches Loki and severs the power amping provided by the Norn Stones. Still reeling from that assault, Void turns to deal with an enraged Thor. Thor tackles Void full-on and with the assistance of Ironman ends his threat and Siege.

Thor vs Void, from Siege #4:

i just pick it up and one has scans yet

Question😄oes anyone know what issue this actually happened? This is sort of a skill feat for Thor as he outwits Thing.

Your welcome. 😄

Hey, ODG, I was wondering, do you have any more scans showing Thor's intellect? A lot of people still think he's a slightly sophisticated brute, and iirc, Thor has some nice feats warranting his smarts, especially when it comes to sharing medical knowledge thanks to his experience as Blake/Olsen.

Here's a cool scan that could fall into Thor's renown/respect factor.

In Mighty Avengers #1, as Carol and Tony begin picking and choosing the new team of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, an interesting statement is uttered by Mr. Stark.

Note that this was prior to Thor's return after Ragnarok, as Tony at this time believed him to be truly dead. And if Iron Man's opinion, especially as a founding member of the Avengers, doesn't count, nobodies does.

I have a section to Thor's intellect in my respect thread.

http://herochat.com/forum/index.php/topic,222540.msg3671438.html#msg3671438

It's not done however (The Thread.). I'll finish it by the end of this week.

It seems rude posting a link to my own thread in ODG. Sorry your Dumbness. 🙁

Anyways back to my sub.

Hey Rage!Do you know what issue were Thor outwitted Thing? And If I remember correctly, didn't Thor once mentioned in Journey Into Mystery#111 that he had skills as a doctor or something? Some people are under the impression Thor is a dumb brute. But that's not the case.

The above? It is issue.

Here are showings of intelligence.

A. SURGICAL SKILLS:

Donald Blake talent was obvious from day one as shown in this tale of his origins where he graduated with top honors.
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic15.jpg
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic16.jpg

When a new celebrity figure gets a dangerous gun shot wound and is sent to a multi-million dollar facility for treatment, who do they call? You guessed it.
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic23.jpg
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic24.jpg

Only Doctor Blake's hands can do the miraculous operation needed to save the Whizzer's life and have him conscious and talking in a few mere hours. The Whizzer had suffered a serious heart attack, and then exerted himself running a decent distance and collapsed; just some context as to his physical state.
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic29.jpg

Thor is just as adept in the field of medicine in his godly form as he is in his mortal form as seen here.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e139/RageOfTheGod/Thor/IntelligentMedic5.jpg

Thor's surgical abilities are so great, his called a magician.
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/DefeatsMerlin5.jpg

Even years later after he had lost the ability to transform into Donald Blake and performed surgery, Thor's skills are still extraordinary as seen here when he saves the life of a shot man going into shock in the middle of central park with barely any medical equipment.
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic17.jpg
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic18.jpg

Another compliment about Donald Blake's matchless surgical skills after a successful operation.
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/IntelligentMedic16.jpg

"Your skill as a surgeon surpasses any other I've ever seen" is not a compliment Doctor Blake is unfamiliar with.
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/IntelligentMedic11.jpg

Donald Blake's colleagues have never seen surgical skill and brilliance such as his and even comment on his incredible knowledge on techniques not known to man.
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/IntelligentMedic8.jpg

When Micheal Korvac kills and then later barely revives them, it's up to Thor as Donald Blake to save their lives and he does exactly that. It should be noted that some of the Avengers had unique physical bodies such as the Vision etc.

http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/WithstandsKorvac7.jpg
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic38.jpg

When the Fantastic Four need a doctor who's up there intellectually with Reed Richards, their number one choice is Donald Blake, the same Donald Blake who's one of the top ten most gifted surgeons in the world as stated here when he performs a miracle operation.
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic19-1.jpg

http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic22.jpg

The reason the Fantastic Four needed Donald Blake in the first place was to save the Blacksun who had recently died. Not only did Blake bring him back to life but he also reversed his cellular decay and removed his powers which turned him human with his unmatched surgical skill.

http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic33.jpg

http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic36.jpg

When Doctor Strange is in trouble, it's Thor who he contacts, and it's only he who has the unearthly knowledge and surgical skill to counteract the effects of a powerful spell as no modern medicine known to man could (Yeah, you read it right. A freaking spell.) and save Doctor Strange's life.

B. INTELLIGENCE:

Thor apparently knows most earthly languages.
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/IntelligentMedic13.jpg

When Black Bolt calls for a meeting of minds, he chooses Reed Richards and Thor to meet with him.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e139/RageOfTheGod/Thor/ThorMindMeeting.jpg

For those who don't think Thor is adept with technology, here he uses the most advanced medical equipment in the world to determine the status of Gilgamesh.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e139/RageOfTheGod/Thor/IntelligentMedic.jpg

Thor modifies the complex electrical components of an advanced ray for his a “shocking” purpose.
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/TechnologyExpert1.jpg
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/TechnologyExpert2.jpg

Thor comprehends Ego's advance molecular manipulation.
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/IntelligentMedic7.jpg

Thor isn't lacking in the planning department either as here he sets a trap and outmaneuvers Victor Von Doom himself.
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic30.jpg
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/IntelligentMedic9.jpg
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/IntelligentMedic10.jpg
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/yy73/R-O-G/Thor/IntelligentMedic31.jpg

We get a glimpse of Thor's super genius here when he creates a green android that possesses unbreakable skin as well as super intelligence which it illustrates when it solves the worlds most complicated mathematical problem with it's 375 I.Q. level.
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/InventsAndroid1.jpg
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/InventsAndroid2.jpg
http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af17/RageOfOlympus/Thor/InventsAndroid3.jpg

Thor's super intelligence is once more evident here when Zaxton a genius in his own right (Notice how he praises Blake's intelligence and implies Blake is his superior.) comes to Donald Blake for help when he needs to perfect his duplicator ray. And perfect it he does as after his work is done, it can even create a duplicate of Thor.

That was awesome!Thanks Rage.

^ Link to your respect thread was fine Rage.Of.Olympus. I linked to the other Thor respect thread here myself. Unfortunately, I am not registered on Herochat.com and have never seen any of its threads (bit annoyed direct links and searches are prohibited to non-members). But I'm confident it's epic.

Also, extraordinarily comprehensive additions to an attribute of Thor's character that I've utterly neglected. The only additions I have to your list for now are the following:

============
INTELLIGENCE
============

When the Radioactive Man was first introduced, he showed up in Manhattan and announced his challenge to Thor. Donald Blake was in the middle of a delicate operation at the time and a fellow doctor describes his operation as a "masterpiece of medical skill!"

But after tackling him, Radioactive Man manages to send Mjolnir away out of Donald Blake's reach -- who at this point is still coming to grips with his ability to transform into Thor. Being unable at the time to sense Mjolnir, he decides to fashion an x-ray type device "after an hour of frantic electronic experimenting" to locate it. From, Journey Into Mystery #93:

Here, Loki cravenly attacks Donald Blake. Sif is mortally wounded while protecting him and only Donald Blake's medical skills and Thor's godly knowledge of Asgardian magicks and physiology can save her, much to the disbelief of his fellow physicians, from Thor #153:

Oh okay. Herochat's respect threads are worth joining for. I dislike that too. Maybe I'll add my respect thread to a board like narutoforums so it can be viewed by the public. Thanks man. Unfortunately my thread isn't %100 complete. My Laptop crashed the day I finished the thread and I didn't have time to redo it since I was going to Cuba that day. I still have the Battle Equipment, King Thor, Rune King Thor, Non Cannon and Fights (Heroes/Villains/Teams/Cosmic Threats.) sections to finish. Won't take me long. I think I'll be done by the end of the week but I can't all finish it at once because I'm extremely busy with school.

Those are great. I was actually going to add the first scan when I updated the thread but I completely forgot about the second feat.

Hey Rage! Can I ask U what issues those scans happened?A friend of mine is asking me because he also thinks your scans are great. Thanks in Advance.

I know this is a Thor Respect Thread, but I hope this is not taken the wrong way. With the upcoming Thor movie, I hope they create an awesome BGM for him. kinda like this.

And here's a video of Stan "The Man" Lee talking about the characters he created.

A friend of mine made those videos.Credit goes to steveaventuras.

This is actually one of the funniest things I've ever seen - I can't stop laughing - Its ridiculous 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

DURABILITY

BLUNT FORCE

After his introduction into Marvel lore, the Avengers decide to size up Vision, to see if he can hang with the Avengers. Vision condenses himself to his utmost mass and strikes Thor to little (if any) effect, from Avengers #58:

Here, Nova is forced to fight a possessed Thor, with his full power. And right when the Corruptor loses his control over Thor and his mind begins clearing, Nova unleases his strongest punch, which he cannot pull back. Thor asks for one moment to gather his thoughts and seemingly isn't inconvenienced very much, from The Man Called Nova #4:

PIERCING

Upon having his spirit cast backwards in time by Loki, a distracted Thor is ambushed by Frost Giants who hack away at him with axes. While wounded, Thor certainly isn't cleaved, from Domination Factor #6:

MENTAL

The Corruptor tries to regain control over Thor upon encountering him again. Thor is ready this time and had gathered his will to resist Corruptor's power, from The Man Called Nova #4:

Here's another update on Mjolnir. I'm surprised I keep missing some illustrative feats:

MJOLNIR STORMBRINGER

STORM CONTROL

Unsurprisingly, Thor has used his lightning in a variety of ways. Here, instead of calling it forth from the sky, he channels it right through the ground, from Journey Into Mystery #106:

Thor has summoned multiple and simultaneous lightning bolts from the sky, but he can also have Mjolnir emit them in an area effect lightning burst, from Thor #427:

WHIRLWINDS

This is another instance where Mjolnir demonstrates perfect control over whirlwinds, such that a cyclone of wind propels the Avengers together without harming or whirling them dizzy, from Avengers #58:

Here, Thor summons a raging funnel of wind, suspending a variety of creatures helplessly. But what should be really noted is that the wind funnel will persist "-- until such time when Asgardian magic should be withdrawn by its golden-haired instigator." Basically, Thor doesn't have to concentrate to sustain even precise manifestations of Mjolnir's storm control, from Avengers #200:
