facepalm. Honestly the foolishness level some people display is unbelievable. SO in ur estimation a factual statement made by a character on the damage being done to him presently, is the same as an offhand comment made by a less than reliable source regarding an off panel event that he has a vague recollection of?..........of course, of course.
its called hyperbole. look it up.

Just shut up. Superman after the fight claiming that is the hardest opponent he has ever faced is known to be hyperbole because of the frequency with which he says such things. You cant just because of that disregard everything any character says in a match and label it hyperbole. That is idiotic. It is even more idiotic when the character is giving real time descriptions of the damage being done to him.

We also get an insight into the world of someone who can neither read nor properly see. In this world, a charging hit with your axe is the same as hitting someone with your fist. One also has to be above Odin in order to challenge Superman.Nothing's better than arguing points people never attempted to make, this saves you the trouble of actually responding to what they write and realizing how downright wrong you are.
In some peoples minds the enemy will always take the most powerful blow head on. In this minds, the prefered char is allowed to use his power, is allowed to fight, the other just waits and takes the beating. This minds read only the parts they want to read, so they will never understand that an high herald is sometimes enough and sometimes not.

it's also idiotic for a character to claim that he's nearly killed while he looks like he's in tiptop shape. 😐
Both Bor And OP-Thor at the end of the fight were nearly going to be killed by one or the other. The last 4 pages shwos this and the on panel dialog support this from both sides

Why do u just look at comics and then begin imagining whats written on the panel in ur head? Thor mentions that if not for the Odinforce he would already be dead which indicates that Bor would have already killed classic thor NOT that at that present moment he was almost dead.
