Edit: It was an analogy of a church as a government. In this "church" everyone in the clergy blindly places faith in the preacher (president), the "bible (constitution and amendments)" and the Elders, while they continuously revise the "bible" and reinterpret it so that they can manipulate the lives of the clergy. The clergy whines about the present arangements no matter what they are, thinking they are creative or free because they get that much say in the matter, but the truly free ones are the ones who identify the lie and become independant.

I admit...that is a good line.
Going back to what I said earlier...Avatar will most likely be remember for the similiarities to other films such as Dances With Wolves than for it's racial tones.
But this agenda is quite clear....corporations are bad. Which in a bad economy...having a job isn't bad at all.
Maybe it's a movie about a nation taking over those less technologically advanced, in which case it'd be a movie about every war in which one side clearly out matched the other. Maybe I'm just retarded, but when I watched it I saw it as a movie. It was story about human greed and the Navi trying to defend their homeland. Maybe it was an allegory and maybe it wasn't - just watch it as a ****ing movie. Stop trying to analyze every god damned little thing.
