Dunno... why would it be great? I'm not too impressed with a lot of remakes.

And rightly so. Many are rancid effluence.

I kinda hope to see exceptions-to-the-rules though.

The only good part of Friday the thirteenth was the mating scene. Other than that, the acting was terrible, and jason was not even scary

I didn't like The Fly myself. The other remakes are very good.

But I was talking about recent B-movies remakes like Friday: Dawn of the Dead type of remakes...

Not liking the sequel is respected, and admired, as well as law.

But the Goldblum's 1zzzzt movie was gem.

And also it made me feel less alone because it showed a character in it that has as much sugar in there tea as I do.

No, I appreciate the acting and stuff. But it just didn't strike me as a very impressive film. It kinda lost me in the second half. Maybe it was the typical Cronenberg gore that put me off and that the way he looks in the end just isn't very interesting to... all weird flesh and stuff. I guess I don't have to mention I never bothered to watch the sequel.

I dunno... I just saw District 9 and the way they handled his transformation was a lot more down to earth for some reason (hahaha, I made a pun).
