Darkseid with the ALE vs Galactus.

Someone said that a writer stated in an interview that Supes would need only 95% of his power and another state of mind to annihilate HP DD. That mindstate was almost reached during the OWAW arc, where Superman took on the imperiex probes which varied in power, from team wreckers that are above Thanos (solo, taking out the JLA or Zod and his team) to Probes in the high herald range.
When pissed he took on Darkseid who is well above Thanos (a Sub-Skyfather) and even defeated those avatars.
I don't want to start with Despero.

That said. Thanos would win against Superman more often then not BUT once superman becomes as serious as he did in Batman/Superman (where he though Kara was killed) or OWAW he would defeat Thanos.

The prob with supes is that he does as well against über powerful enemies as he does against any other popular earth-villain.

It depends on what you want to believe(DS and Thanos). If you like Thanos more as a character ur gonna say Thanos, if you like Darkseid, ur gonna say Darkseid.

The probes were dealt with and were more of a surprise initially. Thanos has taken on team wreckers such as Odin and Tyrant. thanos himself is a teamwrecker. Calling a probe a teamwrecker in the same sentence with Thanos is displaying an ignorance on the level of h1.

Superman stalemated Ds and was easily laid low by Black racer. Acting as if he did something truly awesome in this arc is also truly ignorant.

What examples of darkseid do you have that puts him anywhere near Thanos' level?

DD trashed him in a panel or two. the same DD who a 95 percent raised on apokolips superman would defeat. That's according to the same writer who handled Darkseid here.

Darkseid was pissed off against Orion, Superman, and DD. He was soundly beaten by all three. Calling him a skyfather is another ignorant statement.

False. Superman had help in that fight. Citing this fight when he needed WW's,Supergirl's aid and a sun amp is another ignorant move on your part.

Thor takes on more powerful threats than Superman regularly so I don't see what all the fuss is about.
