He didn't really fight him. He was about to smash Fantastic Four, when Reed summoned Galactus.

Galactus begin to eat anti-matter using Hype (against his will) as a conduct.

Other versions of Hype would get his head off his shoulders by Thanos, but this particuliar version stomp.

maybe Hype win here but dunno if it gonna be easy win (if its Thanos w/all upgrades)

HS didn't "fight" Galactus, he got easily defeated without Galactus having any trouble at all. That said, he probably wins anyway.

Hyperstorm only outsmarted Doom. Thanos>Doom in intelligence and power.

And outsmarted Reed Richards. Hyperstorm conquered most of the Universe already. Only Galactus could defeat him. FF didn't call in Thanos, they called in Galactus.

Went toe-to-toe with Odin.
The smartest person in comics even counting the pre-crisis guys from DC, Thanos is the smartest there is.

He knocked Galactus on his ass during Annihlation without the heart or IG, Galactus wasn't hurt but he was clearly angry.
