Mind Control - Various

Hal creates a sort of ‘gate’ which creates the strong psychic suggestion that prevents people from entering, or even seeing, a room.

After himself being directly taken over by one of the Demons Three (Using a yellow smoke of some kind, circumventing his defenses) Hal takes control of his fellow Justice Leaguers and forces them to fight against their will.

Compells aliens to show their true form, withstands their mind blasts, then disguises himself to get more info.

This one might also count as illusion, up to you.

John works a little mind mojo.

Healing

http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v58/Desaad/Hal%20Jordan/Hal%20Jordan2/GreenLantern167-02.jpg

After fighting and losing to a group of GL’s with superior versions of the Power Ring (NO weakness to yellow, in general more powerful) Hal simply heals himself and is back up to 100%.

Hal uses his power ring to heal a Flash that had been out in space FOR HOURS.

Doesn’t that constitute bringing him back to life?

Creates ICU for Cowgirl.

Gets a super tranquilizer out of his system.

When confronted with a deadly and unstoppable plague on the planet Xanshi, Jon Stewart effortlessly creates a cure, using his ring to create some “pretty wild chemical reactions”.

Hal’s goodside, or if you prefer to believe Tom Kalmaku (Whose Willpower was specifically said to be less than Hal’s early in both their careers) recreates the entire planet Oa, in all it’s glory with all it’s technology.

John and Katma turn a lifeless asteroid into a living, vital world in a matter of hours.

Also, Kilowog and a bunch of Lanterns did it, and Kyle has done it on two separate occasions (once creating a planet around Traitor, another time recreating Pluto).

I don't think Surfer or a top tier GL have many feats to clearly place one over the other.

It boils down to which cosmic crusader you like best.

Guess I take it back
seems they are surely on about equal footing

One more for Hal against magic, I guess, from today's GL 50 (okay, he doesn't manipulate the energy of the spectre or anything, but he performs pretty decently)...

Desaad, it wasn't the Spectre.

Hmmm, after reading everything again.

How not? Certainly controlled by the Black Lantern ring, even imprisoned by it and being used as a power source, but they make it quite clear....

Edit.

Did it use Spectre's power? No, all it did was use BL powers.

Where is the evidence of that? They specifically talk about how powerful THE SPECTRE is, not how powerful Nekron is.

SO what powers of Spectre did it use. The guardians only comment that they can't kill BL Spectre because it Spectre is inside.

"THE SPECTRE is one of the most powerful beings in the universe"

When their attack fails...

"Why didn't that work?"

"The spirit of vengeance is being held within the black lantern -- you know first hand THE POWER THE SPECTRE CONTAINS...it nearly eclipses our own"

"It DOES eclipse your own! The spirit of vengeance is absolute rage fused to death!"

And then the whole plan hinges on what he felt was a weakness of the Spectre. I honestly don't see how you could possibly interpret this as anything besides the Black Lantern using the power of the Spectre.

Why would the Spectre be afraid of Paralax? Spectre is the multiversal enforcer of paybacks, doesn't make sense really.

Since when has he been the multiversal enforcer?

Universal, sure. Multiversal? Well, sort of. Certainl we've seen that the Spectre can CREATE a lot of universes (or at least the Hal version), but you generally don't see the Spectre going to Earth 3 or the Anti Matter Universe and exacting vengeance there.

Either way, the Spectre has always fluctuated in terms of power level, much like Galactus. It's a bit silly to worry too much about any individual showing, I think.
