Phoenix Force

Why?

Jean Grey, with only part of the phoenix force, could probably beat galactus, the entire 'force' of the Phoenix Force shouldn't have a problem

granted that the Phoenix has a smart user and knows of Galactus' purpose, they wouldn't ever fight to the death. The stakes are too high.

not rachel, i have read in some novels, not graphic, that jean grey was able to fight pretty much on level with galactus, and again, sorry, but proxies and a filter prohibit me from proving it...my bad...

My question is, why do you think that Galactus can defeat the Phoenix Force, if he needs to feed and she does not?

Also, why would the stakes be too high? What do you mean by that?

the phoenix force isnt going to chance something that would leave a void in universe stability...would be my guess...

I don't think he can defeat her. I don't think she can defeat him either.

And the stakes would be too high because when Galactus dies, Abraxas gets out. And when Abraxas comes out, he will destroy the multi-verse, unless someone gets ahold of the UN and stops him. LT wouldn't interfere because he believes in the cosmic balance. And Eternity, Death, and Infinity's purpose would be usurped by Abraxas and Oblivion.

When Phoenix dies, the multi-verse would go down with her. Remember what Roma and Death told Galactus? She is the life of the cosmoes apparently. While Galactus is the power of them.
