Galactus vs. The Phoenix Force.

The fact that Galactus can die and the Phoenix Force can't puts her above him. Her raw power is above his. She is slightly more powerful. Galactus needs a suit of armor to contain his energies. She has no such suit or need to have one.

She wouldn't dare to crack open big G's armor. She would then have the PC released upon her.

Galactus can't "die". When he died he returned himself and a few others from the realms of death. And Mistress Death was fighting back. and the other time he died, he wanted to die. He told that to Surfer when he was at the brink of death. And Abraxas was released and got ahold of the most devastating weapon in all creation. Only Galactus could stop him by taking the UN from him and restarting the universe.

PC? You mean power cosmic? She could just absorb that.

I think I saw Thanos crack Galactus' armor open.

Why didn't they send Galactus to defeat Phoenix when she was destroying so much life as Dark Phoenix?

Probably.

It was released before 00's though. maybe even before 90's. I don't remember. But Galactus nearly reaches his full potential in that arc.

Galactus was at full potential and was still consuming, it was stated that he could destroy the whole Celestial race. If Galactus didn't blink himself out of existence he would have devour the Omniverse.

Reason... Peonix can draw energy from the universe without consuming shit via a machine. It just takes it from "future generations of unborn beings" (galactus said that, not making shit up) so they couyld go at it for a bit but eventually Galactus will tire and pheonix with beat him.

Or Galactus starts to feed upon the universe/Phoenix as he has before.
