Predator vs. Wolverine

Obviously I meant any version of adamantium Wolverine.

The Preds blue acid from AvP:R would completely dissolve Wolverine's flesh leaving nothing to regen from.

I would presume so. It would either completely destroy any DNA/living tissue or damage it enough to stop it being able to replicate.

The only flaw would be that it wouldn't destroy any tissue completely encased in Adamantium but then anything that was totally encased in Adamantium wouldn't be able to regenerate through the Adamantium anyway so the effect is the same.

His Brain would either not stay intact because the blue acid/solvent would get in past the Adamantiun due to the holes for allowing optic nerves to reach the brain or the Brain would be completely encased in Adamantium and so any brain tissue that did survive wouldn't be able to regenerate past the Adamantium.

I'm also not even sure if it's safe to assume that he can regen from any level of damage because it's not something we've seen in the movies.

I mean how far would you take it?...That he could fully regen quickly enough from a single living cell to avoid being destroyed during regen anyway?

What would be cool though is that if his brain was completely encased and the predator found a way to drill into it and then started sucking the brain matter out (like he did in the scene from one of the predator movies...2 I think) and then Wolverine regens from that tissue. That'd be funny.

We don't know that he can't regenerate from that.

We know he has healing, we don't know how drastic his healing is. In the comics he would laugh that off, and if his movie one is of any similar power...well...

You can't really say either way.
