provide any proof that thor can beat superman, they had one encouter and superman owned thor with a punch so if anything i got a proof that superman>>>thor
If that's the case ive got proof that Venom >>> Superman. Also I do not really think Thor > Superman, I think they're close but Thor's got more options. I was simply mocking the logic because only a complete retard would SERIOUSLY say that Taskmaster pwned Thor and use it as a proof of Superman being Thor's superior.

hey it's him again 🙂
don't u just love the guy?

I personally think it's hilarious when you have people come out of the woodwork to basically lowball and troll Thor and fail pretty hard when they do.

Superman didn't own Thor the battle was much more then that.

Thor hit Superman with one blow from Mjolnir and Superman looked like a train wreck Thor could have just beat him into a coma at that point.

Plus the fact cross overs are non-canon i do i have to show you what venom did to Superman.

Thor and Superman are peers and either can take a majority amount of wins over the other depending how they fight.

Except for the Train wreck and the JLA/Avengers-canon part I agree 100%. Both are peers. Both are great characters that are constantly growing in power. Superman has his share of low showings, like Thor. He might have barely won in the crossover but it was obious that it was one of those 5 out of 10 wins for Supes. He would lose the other 5 and win 4 more 😉.

What I don't like about crossovers is that they seem to be made just for those fans who want to see some heroes clash. That's the reason why most of those stories suck.

Taskmaster wouldn't have been able to do that alone, but it did say something about Thor's durability, Superman could sleep through Taskmaster trying to slap, bash and chop at him with a weapon or shield.

Actually, I'd say they're dreamjobs of the writers and artists that work on them. They're few and far between, they tend to put up massive numbers, people don't forget them, and it's one of the few times writers get to really bring out their childhood fanboy fantasies.

I know JLA/Avengers at least on D/C is canon but i never seen anything on marvel sides that supported it.

If you have anything to show me pleae do i would like to know.

"i don't want to start the whole canon, non canon thing."

I sure this has come up but at least on this baord we don't use JLA/Avenger corssover as canon. for the reason you mentioned

Thor was worn down plain and simple if Superman got worned down and weakened he could get hurt too my taskmaster. Superman durability works alot different from Thor's as far that Aura sheild thing works.

Marvel has references to it in character bios in their handbooks as if the events happened. They just don't name the characters, Green Lantern referred to as an "Emerald knight" or some such. Krona is mentioned in Grandmaster's, iirc.

DCvsMarvel is also canon in some ways, likely as an alternate universe though as nothing suggests it linked to 616, but Tribunal is shown with the brothers and it offhandedly references The Spectre.

JLA/Avengers actually happened in DC's primary continuity though, picking right up in Justice League, and then later in Trinity with the Krona storyline.

Yeah, Captain Marvel does off hand recall a clash with a "thunder god" in his ongoing after Marvel vs. DC concluded.

See know that i can understand i was aware how it happned in D/C continuity but not in marvel's. it makes sense that it wasn't 616 as certain artifacts where there that wasn't even i nthe 616 universe anymore off the top of my head the IG. But if not in 616 then it makes non-canon to 616 characters but thanks for the info.

Yes. They left before he was fully reformed.

Canon or not, both were shown to be peers, both were treated with respect imo.

Anyway. I want to read some Thor stories. I liked him during my Marvel time. Here in Germany Marvel became more sucessfull then DC in the 80ties, I used to read the pocket-books (5-8 US comics in one book) of Spiderman, Captain America, FF 4, Avengers, X-Men and Thor.
Do you have some recommendations? I prefer a good story over an epic one. 🙂
