Really? If you were, you'd understand that Anakin's potential was never realized. That allows a number of NJO characters to surpass him in deeds. Luke, Kyp, Caedus, Katarn all were more powerful than Anakin or Vader ever was. But none of them were as powerful as Anakin could have been. Technically you are wrong. I could have been prophesised to blow up GL with a Nuke. I could die after dropping the nuke from a plane and it could still kill him as a result I would have been defeated before fulfilling my role. Just because somethings balanced doesn't mean it can't become unbalanced again. So that holds nothing here.

First of all: What source states that Kyp had a higher potential than Luke? It is hard to take you serious, because you really do like making shit up. There is no such instance where midichlorians left jedi bodies.

I have heard of that little test on Kyp's potential, and supposedly having a higher potential than Luke. However I do believe it was comfirmed by Leland to be a mistake, just like Sidious claiming that Endor was not his first death.

Anakin was created by the force itself with the purpose of bringing balance to the force. It is only natural that Anakin be gifted with an unmatched potential. Anakin was the son of the force with the potential twice that of Darth Sidious. GL said Luke had the potential of his father.
