here's a first look...

As I said in the other thread, that looks like the fold-outs they do for #500s and #600s.I'm thinking this could be a prelude to re-numbering, but why? Surely they'd not start The Avengers and re-number it so fast.

I'd like to ask why you don't think they'd do renumbering though?

Happens all the time, welcome to comics. I'm always surprised that people still gripe over what amounts to be power level quibbles, especially before we see how it'll actually go down.

@Vasonbee,It's weird but it almost seems as if it doesn't even acknowledge the other situation. Like they both exist in a vacuum.
Again, this is normal. If we're asked to reconcile how a character manages to be in, say, 4 different books in the same week, all in different locales (and this has happened many times) then it would never work. Nova seems to be the only major overlap between the two scenes, though, so it'll be easier to handle than most continuity-wise.
Chances are, they want to keep cosmic separate from Earth storylines. So they may borrow characters, but the storylines likely won't seep into the other.

Seems odd considering the sheer scale of what's going on in cosmic. Especially with you know who back...And I ain't talking about Thanos...
Meh, if you go back and look at ASM, FF, Avengers, X-Men, etc. titles during the other "massive" cosmic events like Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, Annihilation, etc. they are largely untouched by the event. So I think it only seems odd if you really let it bother you. Because I actually think it's pretty standard for Marvel. Maybe it's not the best way to handle it, I'll agree there, but it's the norm.
There's plenty of time yet, though. We may see some crossover action.

Ok, time to bump this. Why? Because Warren Ellis is on Secret Avengers now.I think #16 was his first issue, and I just got back into it. #16 alone is worth picking up even if you don't plan on following the series. I lost interest originally on this title, it was kinda crap, but Ellis is a master.
whats the issue about? i lost interest as well in the title
