They should have Adam Warlock. They need a mage like character. They also need an exotic good looking female character.
Warlord suggested an Eternal. Sersi would be perfect in my opinion. Maybe Gamora as well. They need a hand to hand based character.
Super Skrull won't be needed. You can only make the team so powerful before it gets illogical but I think that ship has sailed. Personally I'd have this line up:
Warlock
Beta Ray Bill
Quasar
Gladiator
Gamora
Silver Surfer
Black Bolt
Sersi
Nova Prime
And Skuttlebutt as the headquarters.
Ridiculously powerful team. Unfortunately I don't think Marvel has a creative team strong enough to write them currently.
You'd need a very creative writer who'd make logical threats on a consistent basis while portraying all the characters as useful. Do you have any suggestions?
I think that roster needs to be cut down a bit -although I don't want it to be- or divided into two different squads. Maybe a rotating roster. They could be the cosmic based Avengers. A rotating squad also opens up the door for guest appearances. Thor, the Super Skrull, Doctor Strange might show up every once in a while etc. to help with threats.
Personally I think this is an awesome concept. I know I'd buy every single issue.
Unfortunately I doubt current Marvel is up to the task.
