maybe it is the cancerverses' Galactus turned into a feeding engine by and for the many angled ones

^ It being the Cancerverse's Galactus is my guess too. Since nothing ever died in that universe, that Galactus probably ate as much as he could to try and balance cosmic consonance by substituting for Death. That's probably why his corpse is so massively large. Then Lord Mar-Vell somehow captured and mutilated him into some sort of Abstract-killing thing.

Yeaht that's correct. Head over to cosmicbooknews.com and there's an interview there with DnA about Thanos Imperative. Sorry, don't have the link off hand.

They state that the Galactus Engine is indeed the cancerverse Galactus, but it's been "bio-engineered" by the Many-Angled Ones Cancerverse Gods to be this doomsday device.

Also talk about T&A a little bit, Nova, etc.

My guess for issue 3 is that Big G, the Proemial Gods, and the Celestials will be stalemating the Galactus Engine while Nova and the "cosmic avengers" do some black-ops situation, and Thanos and the GG encounter more and more of the cancerverse "heroes"

yep and the "i told you so" factor is in full effect as i called in issue 1 sufer deffering to Big G and his allies who arrived at the forefront of the battle. Lo and behold, that's what happened in issue 2.

the galactus engine is composed of remnants on BCA galactus. that explains its gargantuan size.
