The Thanos Imperative!

Wow, after Quanchi's explanation I'm convinced it was a stalemate. I missed it the first time but it's so evident.

Thanos let him go because he purposely didn't want to injure him he wanted to trick him into killing him.

Odin wanted to kill Thanos and failed to even ko him.

Each character wanted something different. Thanos dominated while fighting him and then deciding when to stop whereas Odin only ended up respecting Thanos when he had ample time to beat him and yet failed to do so.

Yes he did want to injure him. Thanos was a beacon at best.

And even if he did Odin didn't go near all out.

No he didn't.

Anyone remember Star-Masters and notice how close the lineup was to the Thanos Imperative team? - Surfer, Quaser, BRB, and a Strontian - but with Xenith as the Strontian instead of Gladiator, and a Skrull instead of Ronan.

Did they ever explain why Xenith turned evil?

I'm not sure how you guys could think this was a stalemate 🙄

Where does Thanos defeat Mar-Vell? Thanos at best stalemated him. In the last panel, you can see that Thanos is only enraging Mar-Vell who is about to ripe Thanos' arm off. Luckily Thanos knew he couldn't kill Mar-Vell so he submitted to Mar-Vell's clear superiority. It's obvious his power to bring death to those in the Cancerverse does not apply to Mar-Vell; he needed Mar-Vell to perform the Necropsy to bring Death herself in to kill Mar-Vell.

Plain as day. Mar-Vell>=Thanos

When did WWK become a idiot troll?

Thanos didn't want to defeat him only trick him into trying to kill Thanos. Thanos succeeded in doing so whereas odin was actively trying to defeat/kill Thanos to which he was unsuccessful.

I'm correct as always.

They're not obviously. It's just interesting that Tartarus looks like SG and how Lord Mar-Vell worshiped the MAO, which includes Shuma Gorath. As Tartarus coming from Chaos and with Chaos War coming out a the same time as Thanos Imperative. It's just an interesting circumstance that's all.

Did anyone else find TI devastation to be a huge letdown?

I wouldn't call it that. I mean nothing Marvel these days seems to be great but I would have bought it even if I knew how it all played out.

Has anyone else read Thanos Imperative: Devastation

I have. It was alright, basically just showed how the Annihilators were brought together by Cosmo and revealed the leader at the end. I was hoping it would answer question about what happened to Thanos, Nova and Starlord in the Cancerverse, but it didn't.

It is a weak reason to bash a comicbook which wasn't all that bad.

STFU, a weak reason that they didnt explain what happened to 3 of the biggest satr of the series.

The rest of the comic was Cosmo barking we must make a OMGZ powerful team.

Its pretty clear what happened to them...it says TI, and TI: Devastation that they were forever trapped in the Cancerverse.

Except they did.

I thought it was worth buying just to see Blaastar saying "Oh sh.."

Giving his personal opinion for it being disappointing isn't bashing.

Shut up jnr mod, they never showed anything about Starlord,Nova or Thanos after the Cancerverse closed or what they were doing in the Cancerverse now and if you think they are trapped forever youre a bigger idiot than i first thought.

It stated on panel Star-Lord and Nova held off thanos because then he would be stuck there "FOREVER!".

You can ignore on-panel proof all you want but it happened.

I'm sure they'll bring them back but as for now they are trapped in a collapsed universe, separted from the MU.
