The amount of times you hit your opponent is irrelevant we look at how he took the blows and if he had an answer for them. He was at Thanos' mercy.Thanos could also own the same team and easily.

By the way if you look at the 2nd image where you see the Revengers fighting the GOTG, look at the background.
That giant red energy explosion thingy destroying the background is Thanos clashing with Mar-vell. Who comes out on top in the next panels? Thanos clearly, and then he continues to dominate Mar-vell.

Thanos didn't want to defeat him but had him at his mercy whereas Odin wanted to kill him yet respected him and failed to ko him and he wasn't at his mercy they were standing toe to toe.

Odin wanted to kill Thanos and failed to even ko him.
Each character wanted something different. Thanos dominated while fighting him and then deciding when to stop whereas Odin only ended up respecting Thanos when he had ample time to beat him and yet failed to do so.
