Having reviewed this scene. I didn't see anything particularly fast. Yes he spins decently quickley, but not much more then that and even that was not on the same level as Jokers swordman.

I just watched Batman ('89) and I'm gonna have to go with Keaton Bats on this one.

Nite Owl was damn good, but Keaton Man just seemed to WTFPWN every one of Joker's goons, including Big Black Bubba, in the first film and all of the Red Triangle Circus Gang members in Returns.

He deflects that one but is shot later on in the alleyway scene after he rescued Vicky so why didn't this deflecting skill materialise then? It was a lucky deflection in my opinion and if it was done on purpose then he would have deflected it somewhere that didn't include hurting Napier.

Not to mention many if not all of his opponents have come at him from one direction which was fortunate for him in that respect, considering the lack of turning speed he has in that suit. Nite Owl would dance circles around him and Batman would be hard pressed to turn his head to see where he was. Batman's reflexes and reactions were brilliant against the sword guy but get that same swordsman dancing around Batman and he would be screwed.
