the fan's reactions aren't really a big deal imo, and it could have been worse, if superman lost..... just imagine. the writers basically picked the lesser of two evils with that one and thor's usage of his hammer kind of proved it.
(not saying i'm pro thor in regards to this eternal debate, just an observation 😄)
