STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Chains

You duck out of there with your armbands and pass cards!

By the time you leave the station, order has been restored and the alarm shut off. The guards are returning to their posts but you are gone by the time they get back.

"Did you get them?" Vlad asks when you meet at the rendezvous.

Wentar nods. "And I highly doubt they will notice anything is missing, at least not until we're long gone.

"All we need to do now is figure out when we should get under way," he continues. "I say the sooner the better... this place disturbs me greatly."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Vlad asks.

(Totally going to give up on MSN tonight.)

Wentar goes over the plan in his head. Access the prison level, bust out Altar, head for the hangar bays, Emso will take care of the hangar doors, make sure the slaves are on board and then fly out and never look back.

"Yes, it is probably best to move out now," Wentar says, nodding. "Emso, do you know your part in the plan?"

(Boo!)

"Yes," Emso says. "I will make sure the doors stay open. If you give me a little time I can hack the system wirelessly from the ship..."

"Do it," Vlad says. "After that, we go in."

"Indeed. Lets get a move on then"

Is it advisable that we start moving from the market place, as if coming from the stations or just set out from the ship?

Starting point is unimportant.

In that case we will get ready in the ship and head out when Emso when he says he's hacked the system.

It takes Emso a little time... but he is ready, and so are you.

Vlad can lead you to the nearest lift that goes down to the detention level.

Indeed, no time like the present.

Adjusting his armband Wentar follows Vlad into the elevator. Swiping his card on the reader that will take them to the detention level.

You would do so if the guards at the elevator did not stop you.

"State your business," says one.

"Extra security for the detention level," Wentar says confidently.

"What for?" he asks. "I didn't hear about this."

"No idea, I was just ordered to come down here for security detail," Wentar says shrugging. "Seemed pretty odd to me, but you know how it is. Boss says 'jump', you ask 'how high?'"

"Yeah, yeah..." The guard is skeptical but lets you into the lift. The door closes and it starts to descend.

"How long are we keeping the ruse going?" asks Vlad.

"As long as we can," Wentar says. "If we can get to Altar's cell with as little trouble as possible that would be idea, but be ready things will likely turn violent before that."

"I'm more than ready," Vlad says.

The lift comes to a halt and deposits you into the prison level. The entrance is a security station, much like the detention level on the Death Star but more rusty and out-dated. There are guards about the room, monitoring various cells and cameras.

The lead 'officer,' a Trandoshan with his clawed feet up on the central console. He brings them down when you come in, putting one hand on the enormous rifle near him.

"Who are you lot?" he asks.

How many guards in the room?

"We've been sent to check up on the prisoner," Wentar says importantly, he thumbs up at the roof. "Order from the big guys up stairs."

Six and the leader.

"Which prisoner, exactly?" the leader asks.

(BAH! Crummy internet! I wanted to place 'special' before prisoner. Does that change his reaction?)
