USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

Started by Ushgarak328 pages

Here goes!

The Converging Destinies rule is still in effect, as Dark Side and Jedi alike are attempting breakthroughs of narrow, defended areas...

To explain the geography:

This is like a giant t-junction. The bridge connects at its east side to Open Area Centre. The Open Area itself is a sort of plaza, lines on the east side by high buildings; there are entrances on the north and south side; you are coming from the north.

All the way across the bridge is the entrance to the terminal building where you can catch your train.

Please set your starting schticks and let me know of anything else significant.

"We can do this," Xeth says. "We've gone up against worse."

Xeth wil have Carnival of Carnage, Eye of the Storm, and Balanced Guard active, and start off with his sonic blaster.

Vlad should also have his blaster out, and Roan and Wentar will be Bodyguarding us respectively. And we should shoot ahead, Vlad. There are 14 Jedi and 10 Yeomen in the first stretch, it'd be overkill for us to all concentrate on the first group.

"This... looks deceptively easy," Wentar says when they approach the bridge. "I just know we are going to have to watch our backs on this one."

FoGu, BG and RF as my starting schticks please!

Erm, Wentar will be sticking with Vlad at the start, keeping BG on him, focusing on any Yeomen firing at us. I'm pretty sure Vlad and Xeth are shooting at things to begin with and Jovan is hanging back due to damage.

I'm curious about Thea, is she in need of a bodyguard? Does she have any weapons on her?

She carries a hold out pistol. She does not seem concerned.

(OGu/CL7/PS. Ready to rock! Andro volunteers to lead the charge, or at least to be at the front with the most healthy.)

58... while I'm dead at 60... I'm going to hold back obviously.

Jovan, you are going to stay with Jelena. I am going to use Bodyguard on you so that you get my Armor and Coordination on top of your Defense. Okay?

We all need to move to Open Air Center together so we can get across fast.

Alright guys. They key here is running. Our objective is to get across the bridge, NOT to kill everyone.
For example, Yeomen South? Forget them. Don't engage them. We are coming from the north, and need to head west. So some of us attack the Center Yeomen, and the rest of us just book it west. We want to clear through here as fast as we can.

We also don't want to split the group in such a way that we isolate the injured people.

Me, Andro, Sunda, Denz and Vlad attack the Yeomen.
Everyone else make for the bridge.

I think everyone should move together as a one group, Roan, though thank you for pointing out that we don't need to go south, I didn't realize.

Just have everyone lay into the yeomen in the Center to wipe them out, Vlad and Xeth can shoot out the yeomen to the South to reduce their numbers.

You okay with Bodyguarding Xeth?

Obviously there will be reinforcements coming in from behind, but who knows what will be coming at us from the front.

Once we get to the bridge I'm thinking we have a few combat ready at the front of the group, the injured in the middle and a few gunners/bodyguards at the back to run interference on those that pursue us.

Personally I don't think we should ignore any group of Yeomen, let the South Group be taken out by the gunners. If we leave them at full strength that can come back to bite us.

(If we split and stop to wipe out any positions, we're bogged down 2-3 turns. I think speed is our key. I bet if we're still on the bridge 4 turns from now, we're in deep poodoo. i say we run, let the healthy soak up the damage if possible and only stop to fight people in our way. With people bodyguarding the critical, we shouldn't lose anybody.)

That would be fine and dandy if we had any healthy fighters. Gallagher thinks that we can sweep through and kill as many as we can before moving on. We don't dilly-dally to kill more; any yeomen we miss, the gunners can claim as we keep moving.

I mean, we can move and attack in one turn, then move again, and so on. Unless we get blocked by walkers or flyers, it should take us five turns minimum to get to the terminal.

can I use force powers while moving or will the accuracy go down in relation to health? If not, I can bombard the yeomen, it should slow them down a tad... any extra meter is welcome.

Yea, I forgot, we can move and attack in the same turn. Alright, lets swarm the first 10 and then just keep moving.

If you are adjacent to enemies and move, they get a free attack. So anyone who moves into the crowd and does not finish the job before withdrawing will get a hail of gunfire.

What do you guys recommend Denzral does?

Attack dem Yeomen dead. 😛

So I don't fall into the same trap as last time, Wentar will go where Vlad goes. If Vlad moves up, Wentar will too. He's sticking with Vlad, BG on him, focusing on any Yeoman that attacks us.

Any initiative and/or defensive measures anybody wants to take?

Without knowing if I'm going to get shot at with so many of us it's hard to commit to a tap so soon...

Can I be really specific here? Like, If they get initiative, I'd like to focus on one of the South Area Yeomen, and tap Focused guard IF one of those South Area guys shoots at me, focusing on him? Or it that far too specific and this is more of a 'luck' thing with the focused guard?

Yes, you can do that.

I wasn't necessarily talking about taps.
