USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

Well you don't have one.

(Crap, we're getting separated. That's what I was afraid of. Now if we move to get back together we'll be swamped by enemies from all sides. This familiar at all? Too late now. Let's dust off these last two yeomen, then see which way is clear. Andro and the Padawans, Hurrah!)

Ogu/RI/PS - More yeomen hacking!

They are all clear as it stands.

Xeth will retroactively tap Eye of the Storm on the last hit he took in the fire fight. Swap out Carnival of Carnage for Charge.

With Roan covering him now, Xeth keeps firing on the yeomen flanking their group at Corridor Right Corner. As he does this, he backs up to Corridor Left Corner.

Vera-Kin wants to make an Observation check to see which of the men seems the most distracted and busy.

Initiative yours; turn was safe enough.

"Where do we go, Master?" asks Argo. Sunda looks warily down the corridors.

"Should we split?" he asks.

Vera- one of them seems to be having trouble scanning a hard copy of something- looks distracted to you!

Ok, sorry, meant to get to this earlier today but failed- I am ready to start play for the three new Light Side players!

If I understand correctly, we have two Renegades and one incoming Jedi, right?

You Renegade boys- do you know the set-up for Renegades in this game? I know Digi has been playing an individual game. The basic set-up is that you guys have effectively taken up Private Investigation work, trying to right wrongs somewhat outside the system where the Jedi tend to have legal difficulties, or where crimes are not even reported. You work with a group of likeminded ex-Jedi, under the supervision (as opposed to leadership) of the Genosian Jedi Xeth Tam. You guys have been on assignment to the Far Rim and out of comms for a while on a n anti-banditry assignment (land-borne pirates are still an issue on the frontier worlds) which prevented you from taking part in a massive anti-piracy (space-bound this time) investigation that Xeth got himself caught up in- in co-operation with the Jedi. You've wrapped up your case but Xeth and all the others seem to be out of contact. Your base on the third moon of Uridium says something you view with trepidation- Xeth was reporting into the Council at Coruscant.

-

As for the Jedi Iffa- you are on sector patrol far out. Jedi respond to specific calls, but sometimes they like you to 'fly the flag' as it were- get out there and visit some remote worlds, see how they feel (there's been a lot of discontent in the outer worlds of late) and fix a few problems. You are between systems when you pick up the urgently broadcast fugitive apprehension transmission.

Vera-Kin will approach him.

"Greetings," Vera-Kin says to him. "I need access to the Library's records. Can you help me?"

Vera... You arn't in the library yet, these guys are watching the entrance. You should just all slide by him..

Hmm. Ush, hold my move. Could we just slip by since he's distracted? Or is our goal here to talk our way past?

Xeth will blast that last yeoman at the right corner while moving to the upward slope from the left corner.

Andro- looks like you're picking the direction.

Awesome, I'm in!

So we're at the base. Ush, what kind of things do we have available to us in terms of relevant amenities and supplies? I assume we can contact the Council ourselves as well?

Anyway, who else am I with at the moment at the moon base? I'll begin action soon but should probably hash out the particulars first.

The Library isn't open to the public, I'm certain they'll notice unaccounted for strangers running around the place and not all of us have intrusion.

I just want to confirm- the people the library guys are looking at are at the reception desk, beyond which lies the library proper. Sneaking a group as big as yours past is indeed not practical.

-

The facilities at the moon base are actually pretty basic, Tilulla. You have some offices and reports of previous operations, names of contacts etc, some places to sleep and mostly comms for getting and administering jobs.

You can indeed contact the Council! But they won;t discuss anything sensitive over comms with a... 'free-spirited' one like yourself.

You may have one other player with you- we shall see if he posts.

'This is Iffa N'aworru of the Jedi Knights. I have received your transmission and am en route.'

Iffa will then take his ship to the place the transmission has come from.

Guess that means you should continue with your social line Vera, unless you want Wentar to take a crack at it.

Ok, I'll stall a bit and see if he shows.

Is there any indication at the base of where Xeth and his companions are at the moment? I rifle through some of the recent reports to search for anything relevant about his whereabouts, and also search for names of recent contacts that might be able to help.

I'm advancing the prison break by the end of the day, so in the absence of Andro you guys had best do something.

Btw, randomly picking directions is not the answer.

-

Nothing at all, Tilulla. The last official job he did was with those pirates, and that seems to have been wrapped up. He took the others and went to Coruscant and that's all you know.

-

Iffa, you are getting the basic details in now.

SUBJECT: KARA KATAI (EXTREMELY DANGEROUS)

MANHUNT DECLARED BY JEDI COUNCIL; BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION AND UNDESIRABLES IN SUPPORT.

SUBJECT HAS BEEN DETECTED ON PLANET MEBARK. JEDI TEAM ASSIGNED TO CASE OUT OF COMMUNICATIONS RANGE.

ANY JEDI IN RANGE OF SECTOR TO HEAD TO MEBARK AND CONTACT CORUSCANT

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPREHEND KARA KATAI WITHOUT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS

Balls. Ok, I have a ship but technically can't fly it yet (I'm planning on making that my first purchase after Rexx's campaign). What are my options for getting off the planet? Also, other than the other player who might be joining me, is there anyone to talk to?
