Mines are not good Jedi weapons- you are meant to be doing precision work. Mines can kill bystanders. This is a criminal arrest, not a war.

Well, ya know, we'd put the mines somewhere out of the way.

...anyway, sorry, I'll try to reign in Ti's occasional overzealous nature.

I buy some nets, netguns, stun guns, bolos(?), anything to detain.

Excellent idea Jovan! Wish I'd thought of that. I agree with Jelena too, although if she destroyed the cylinders what's stopping her from deleting her personal logs?

stupidity, laziness, the possibilities are endless! 😛

If we somehow can get to see her logs, I'm sure we can find the info we need.

Does she has her own office or can we just log in on the computer with her name?
Problem for both is that we will need her password I reckon.

Well, what was her office wouldn't be any more.

You are right- she'd have destroyed her personal records. They'd be on standard computer, though. More possibilities there.

Furthermore, now Jovan has got onto the idea of 'finding what Adelmo was looking at' instead of 'search the entire destroyed part of the library for something that might look good', you have a much more practical goal- remember, Katai always destroyed far more than just what she found- she destroyed everything. The whole point is to obscure what was important. If they only destroyed the thing they were looking at, everyone would already know what they were doing!

Maybe there is some stage of the process that Adelmo could not have wiped or may have missed?

Mines have to go where they are useful, and you cannot control where the bad guy goes!

I've already implied that nets will have their issues against Katai; I'll have to outright state that bolos would be useless. Any slow moving physical object is easily dealt with by a force user.

But you can have the nets!

Ok, so, Iffa wants to canvas the landing sites to see where Katai arrived. WHat is Tilulla's plan?

Hmmm, would the data readers that you feed the cylinders into keep a record of what was fed through them?

You get initiative, so the bodyguarding is less relevant.

Bit of a dangerous situation you guys charged into there, and Roan suffers particularly badly. No chance for a Bodyguard kill either as all of his attackers hit. Xeth saves a bunch of trouble with his PS tap! A good call to get some extra defence for that.

Actually an issue I realized with this idea is that we don't know what reader she'd have used. Unless they're all networked.

There's one in the Librarian's Office...

Convenient! I think that'd do it! Guess it's plan time now eh?

Well, first would be finding the Librarians Office actaully.

Finding it is easy, but it is not open to visitors.

I wouldn't think so. We'll need a distraction to get in there.

Alright, glancing at the archives I see that the only one in our group has Intruison and that's Vera and yet our best fix it for accessing the reader would be Jelena, tricky business...

Distraction should be easy, I'm thinking we goad the librarian out of his office and actually show him the destroyed records. That should keep him busy long enough for whoever breaks in to do their work.

Yea, should have tapped Orthodox guard.
Well I'll do that this turn, as I attack those left in the center.

Two problems, Wentar- no-one in there, and of course they know about all the destroyed records.

Damnit! Now I look like an idiot... again!

So what's preventing us from entering the room? Is it locked/alarmed? Guarded?

Not guarded, but locked and so forth.

Right! Still not ultra tricky. Less need for intrusion I guess.

Any security cams watching the door? Where exactly is it positioned in the library, what are the odds/rate of people passing by?

I think at this point I ask Iffa the full plan. I know there's nets. That's about all I know...we got swept off into other stuff before I heard the rest. Until I know the exact plan, I'm not sure how I'll be most useful.

Katai doesn't know me though. Iffa, I'm ok with being bait if it helps.

Bait? Why would Katai go after you? She's looking for passage off this rock not hunting down Jedi.

Perhaps looking into security tapes of the arrivals?

Katai shouldn't know either of us. The plan is that we fnd her, but don't confront her. We follow her and find her destination. The nets and so on are there for when an opportunity presents itself. However, bear in mind she escaped 14 Jedi before and there's two of us and a droid.
If it does get down to it, the plan is for you and I to distract her but actually your little droid to sneak and net her. I'm assuming it has the capacity to fly a la R2D2?
