USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

You mean that's the latest news or that that's the first message?

I would like to send a message to the Jedi Council to request that our mission at Thalos be kept confidential until our return and we have had time for a proper debriefing.

(Don't worry Iffa and Tilulla help is on the way!... once we catch up in character of course. 😛)

Wentar certainly hopes it's the first message. By the time we reached Mebark she's bound to be long gone.

Indeed yes, there are other messages- as you could not be reached, they had to scramble to find others to put on the case. The Jedi Knight Iffa Na'Worru was the only one in the area, so he was assigned... but also Xeth's acquaintance Tilulla!

Excellent!

"Tilulla must have just missed us," Wentar says, either to himself or Xeth and Vera. A little unsure where everyone is in character right now. "I'll have to ask her how that assignment went once all this is done."

Do the messages go on to report how the investigation on Mebark went?

Indeed- it says that the two of them traced Katai's journey from there to the planet Tellania- the home of the (in)famous Kodra Repository.

That's... interesting.

I can't help but wonder how Katai knows there is anything of value to her there. I mean it's not like the Telanians just hand out info on what their vaults hold and even if she is drawing insight from the force it wouldn't be as accurate as to say 'this vault is the one!'

Are there any further messages from there?

(Also could we get a refresher on Telania and the Kodra Repository?)

Indeed- privacy is a vital component of the Tellanian business model.

The Tellanians are a wasp-like race with a natural aptitude for building secure structures; they have a very neutral political position and the Repository is the great wonder of their world. It is a set of safety-deposit boxes of all sizes, from those small enough to keep a blaster in from those large enough to hold a battleship. You can store anything there.

The messages end there.

... Hmmm, this has potential.

Until now we've had no idea what Katai has been taking, just that they're ancient items. But now, even if we fail to stop her and she raids a vault, the Tellanians have to have info on what was in that vault, even if she destroys everything we'll still have a list we can use. The biggest issue will be convincing them to let us see the information, tricky but not impossible.

But that's getting ahead of the issue. To Tellania!

Do you really think Katai doesn't know that?

... That's a good point.

Still! Provides an opportunity. She'll have to do something to make those records useless, whether it's raid more then one vault, destroy one vault obviously and secretly steal from another or tamper with the actual records, provides more chances to catch her in the act.

We have the advantage of knowing where she is and what her plans are this time, instead of being surprised or distracted every time.

Was it discovered if the Tellanians actually keep records of things in the vaults? Or do they have a hands-off "we don't care what you put in there" type approach?

Well at least we might be able to find the owner of a vandalized vault.
Regardless, we are getting ahead of ourselves. Lets get to Tellania.

(Healing en route?? Please?)

Of course they have records- that's also a pretty important part of their business.

Absolutely no time to rest, I am afraid, if you want to get going. You'll get a use of Medicine and that is it.

Well, better than nothing.
Lets get moving.

In case anyone hasn't been following our end, we have some nets guns and pretty much no clue how to find Katai. My lone inventive idea to that end has yet to pay off. Iffa's wandering the planet and I'm at a space hub doing sweeps on the planet's security cameras via my R2 unit.

Also, sup everybody. Here's my character for those who aren't familiar: http://www.killermovies.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=12794754#post12794754
...I'll be doing my best to catch up on everyone I don't know as we progress.

Rad. Wentar is currently in backstory limbo until I finish Rex's Retrospection, Chains.

So I'm slightly concerned about how the Tellanians will react to a dozen Jedi showing up after Tilulla and Iffa have already arrived. Considering they're not exactly the biggest fans of Jedi poking around their vaults this could cause issues.

Confidentiality is indeed very important to them.

Perhaps the official Jedi arrive as backup for Iffa and Tilulla but us Renegades take a different approach?

As in maybe the Tellanians will be be more open to potential customers over nosey Jedi?

Not a bad idea! The Renegades could pose as interested customers and sleuth about while the Jedi do their investigation the lawful and boring way.

Xeth is of course thrilled to return to his ship and find it repaired, if still possibly in need of further work. He is equally thrilled to hear that Kara Katai has been tracked down to Tellania, though he wishes he were in better condition for a confrontation.

"We just need to get the drop on her," Xeth says to Vera-Kin and Wentar. "If we can do that, it won't matter that we're not in the best fighting shape. She's just one Zaari, even if she's the best of that lot. She can't win a straight fight with so many Jedi!"

I assume R3-U9 is all fixed up too. Xeth tells his astromech to dial in the coordinates for Telania and prepare to get the ship into orbit. He also keeps scanning the sensors, just in case Aquila tries to pull any last ridiculous shots at us as we're leaving...

We should probably decide if we are going to go with Renegade Vault Shoppers or not, because if we all arrive at the same time it'll be suspect.

"Indeed," Wentar agrees. "It seems that every other time Katai has made an appearance it's been unexpected. This time we know where she is and a general idea of what she will do. We definitely cannot waste this opportunity."
