Vlad nods to Wentar's words, pondering about them. He decides to move over next to Wentar when they finally enter the system. He wanted to have a good look of this unknown system.

"Amazing, isn't it? There are still many and many planets such as these that are still unknown to most of us."

"The Galaxy is big, far bigger then people tend to realize," Wentar says, gazing at the system. "Lets see what secrets and new wonders can be found here."

Wentar swings the Free Flier around to follow the others towards the fourth planet.

Still no transmissions though- or any signs of life.

The cities are dead.

He flipped the com. "Okay guys what is the plan?"

"We fly to the city that Ascar designates as our point of landing," Jelena says, "and we do so carefully and politely. We have no idea what we are going to be greeted with because of the secrecy of our old friend. We do not want to give anyone any reason to be perturbed by our presence more than it may already."

Jelena will radio the Spirit of Corellia from Sunlit Dancer.

"What now, Ascar? I am hoping you know which city we are to land in."

I imagine whatever tune John Williams set to this scene to be beautiful yet mysterious...

Gallagher will go to the cockpit, so that he can see the world below. Seeing the beautiful world outside, he decides to see what he can sense, reaching out to the planet with his mind, closing his eyes.

"There's nothing for you in the cities," says Ascar.

As you fly closer to the ground, you can see the great spires of the cities below- indeed, most likely set to haunting music. Not a soul resides in any of them. The buildings are broken down, decrepit. The forest has grown into them and moss and laves covers the metal all over.

These must have been abandoned... centuries ago. More.

"Ooo, mysterious," Xeth says, flying Nexu's Grin in alongside the others. "Ancient cities with nobody living in them. Glad you took us out here, Ascar old buddy. Explains the radio silence and utter lack of everything on our scanners, at least..."

Gallagher frowns.

"Where is everyone?"

"Whole cities abandoned? For what reason?" Wentar mutters to himself as he flies over the cities. He turns to Vlad. "What do you think happened here?"

Pfffft, not interesting for you perhaps but a sholar like I is dying to study the cities!

Vlad shrugs his shoulders, still observing the cities from the cockpit. "I'm guessing Ascar knows..."

Wentar nods at Vlad and opens a com to the other ships. "Er, guys? Where do we go from here? These cities seem dead."

Ascar indicates some rocky foothills at the edge of a mountain range.

"Put down there," he says.

"There doesn't seem to be any sign of a struggle, well, at least from up here."

Nope- no sign of violence or anything similar.

"Argo, what do you think of all of this? Worried? Suspicious? Curious?" Andro asks his Padawan, curious to see what he makes of the mission and the location they've arrived at. Andro himself is a little bit of all three emotions. He doesn't trust Ascar, although he would have to admit being somewhat intrigued by the man's insights. A dead world is certainly nothing new to the galaxy, but considering the subject matter, this could turn out to be a dangerous place. Or it could be some evidence of Ascar's views on the Force, or of how this Kitai woman gets her powers.

Roan turns to Sunda and shrugs. "This is odd, but lets see how it works out."
He goes to put the ship down by the foothills.

"Maybe some kind of disease wiped the population of this planet out, what do you think Soapy?" I want to involve my droid as much as possible. Denzral headed for the clearing, keeping an ey on the cities. "Something bad happened here."

Wentar will follow Roan, setting the Free Flier down next to Spirit of Corellia.

"I don't like it, master" says Sunda, his hand hovering near one of his sabre hilts as he leaves the ship. "Whatever destroyed the civilisation here might still be around."

-

Argo is unsure.

"Certainly curious," he says. "But how dangerous can it be? Ascar is no warrior, and he apparently spent time here."

-

You get out into a warm air but with a pleasing cool breeze. A stream bubbles nearby and it is quite picturesque.

Ascar dismounts from the ship, his travelling bag slung from his shoulder.

"We'll have to climb," he says.

Denzral left his fighter, and Soapy behind, and walked over to the others. "And here I am without my climbing equipment."
