USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

Can I tell if the danger Wentar is sensing is in relation to us cutting the vault door?

You'd assume so!

-

That's a Focussed Guard tap he is using there, Roan, not Forward. Are you actually attacking anyone, Tilulla?

Is it possible for us to only cut most of the way and then use the force to push/pull/lift the cut piece out from a distance?

It would be Lift and a lot slower.

Against mooks, tapping FG is really not all that helpful. You are still going to only target one, and just really really overkill it.
If you had flurry, you could use that and tap FG, as that would give you a massive amount of extra die to attempt to kill 4 mooks, (as flurry halves your die pool, but allows you to kill up to 4 extra mooks. (you get to kill one mook per success, up to 4) But when only targeting 1 mook, rolling 15 extra die is overkill, especially when you have about an 80% chance of killing one in the first place.

I hope that made sense. The moral of the story, don't tap FG unless you are either facing a named opponent (See Sunda's last move) or using Flurry.

I tapped Focused Guard, not Forward. It's Forward that grants extra attack die, yeah?

Yea, I got what you wanted to do mixed up. You are good.

How much slower, turns wise, are we talking here?

Swap ES for CL. Attack!

4-4 swaps initiative back to you.

Just a quick request for people to look out for comments I make; I made a statement about Tilulla and using Bodyguard which doesn't seem to have been acknowledged, nor was my request for confirmation she was attacking. As it is, I am going to assume Tilulla IS attacking the adjacent droid- though I may not always assume so if no action is posted- but that means she is not bodyguarding Iffa, who has to move to attack other droids.

Regardless, that door is nearly closed and you guys have got the upper hand on the droids!

-

Wentar- you don't know, though I will have to rule now that your caution means that neither you or Jelena did anything this round.

Jelena, there has been movement inside that vault since you started cutting it.

-

Gallagher- leg wound. Could be worse! D'an is getting you to safety.

-

Xeth- well, the good news is that you will be in the fight very shortly!

The bad news is that you may just as shortly have either fallen past the fight or simply splatted yourself on a hard surface trying to get into it, as at this point you have fairly much hit terminal velocity.

-

Sunda taps Perfect strike this turn (which he should have already had swapped in- my bad) to give him some cover as he jumps up with Jovan after Katai; in response she fires this turn at the easier target of Jovan. She walks backwards onto the upper part of this vault; initiative this turn would let you get to her.

Ahhh! Xeth will try to slow himself down then.

Got any ideas?

Could scraping his staff along the side of a surface help slow him? Or his lightsaber (as Clone Wars seems to enjoy doing)?

I am afraid at this speed the staff would likely snap and I think I'll have to rule against the sabre as a slowing tool for anything other than a stylistic application to any roll you make...

I'm guessing all surfaces are hard walkways?

Or could I make my Jedi robe into a sort of parachute?

Hard walkways and harder vaults!

A tad beyond anything other than a custom-built parachute...

Hmm. I'm loathe to spend any points but could Wall Running allow me to run down the side of a vault and slow myself to any degree?

Sadly all that does is change your gravity; you'd still be falling at the same speed.

to be clear: we're getting near Katai this round?

You are near her now.
