USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

Gallagher almost laughs but manages to hold it back. He has never heard the Force referred to in such a way. Maybe in his studies but never to his face.

"We know of the Harmony," Gallagher says, "though we call it something else. How does the Consul think it should be used? And can all of the Ladies of this 'encourage' it?"

"Yes, all Ladies are servants of the Harmony. And the Consul... she thinks the Harmony must be controlled. She forces it to her will, and others also. It's efficient but... it has its problems. It is ultimately disharmonious. It doesn't leave any room for others to grow and develop, and it brings an obsession with total control and a paranoia to any possible threat. You are an uncontrolled factor, and the only way she can see to control you and stop you from aiding me is to kill you. She's put the city under martial law and ordered the Yeomanry to take you down."

Xeth is going to swap Eye of the Storm in for Close Quarters Gunman and plug another round into his launcher before popping the Yeomen with it, still from the cover of his ship.

Any way he could block off the street by hitting a building and causing debris to fall?

With a grenade launcher that could take a long time. It would also kill any civilians within.

Gallagher recognizes the hallmarks of the Dark Side in how Lady Thea describes the Consul's views of the Force.

"How do you think it should be encouraged?" Gallagher asks. "And how many Ladies are there? How many side with you, or with the Consul, on this?"

"I think Harmony is best achieved by working together for common cause- not out of compulsion, but out of a desire for benefit for all. But the Consul's will is immense; she has total control over the Government. 50 Ladies rule here; right now, the number of Ladies supporting my position is roughly one."

"I believe our views on this energy field are similar," Gallagher says with a slight smile. "Who is this other Lady, and what are you trying to achieve?"

"That Lady would be me," says Thea. "But I can still turn things around- that is why the Consul fears me... and you."

"Understandable," Gallagher says. "We by default concur with your views."

Gallagher thinks for a moment as he moves.

"Do any of your Ladies... have white hair?" Gallagher asks.

"The Consul wouldn't wait to analyse your views. The stones told her you would side with me. But she didn't know when you were coming. She's had the planet on military readiness for weeks. My prediction was better; I knew precisely when and where you would arrive, so I was in position to aid you.

"And.. no," she says.

Gallagher is somewhat relieved.

"I suppose we must be thankful for that," Gallagher says. "Does it bother you that we've slain some of the Yeomen?"

"I'd rather they were spared if possible," says Thea. "It is not their fault they are so controlled. They are only men, after all. But we must do what we must; the true fault is the Consul's."

"You make it sound as if the Consul is using the Harmony to influence them to her will," Gallagher says. "Rather than simply following orders."

"What man would dare disobey the Consul?"

Gallagher grimaces.

"I feel like being a man on Thalos means you are not very highly thought of," Gallagher says.

Could Wentar Leap up to the warehouse roof?

Yup!

"Something men have brought on themselves," says Thea.

Perhaps Vera should try to tackle the gunplacement west of the north while I try to take down the 4 that are left?

Hmmm, better idea!

"Vlad hit the ones on the roof!" Wentar calls as he moves back to the ship.

Swap block for Reflection. Move back to the ship. BG on Vlad.

I run into and down the hallway, darting back towards the walkway I was on when I entered. Reflecting a shot back, and swinging at a door panel as I pass to close one.
