"What do you mean?" Rand asks.

Gallador listens to the exchange between Rand and Kai, slight grin appearing on his lips upon hearing the thief's inquiries.

"You need to get through that door or you are finished. To get through that door, you need your army. And that army... is loyal to you three, not them."

"If I chose to set them upon my unruly friends, I would be totally rid of them," Rand says. "They'd be dead or stuck on this level. I don't see that as much of a gain, though. I would rather work with these people, for not ALL are loud-mouthed."

Rand considers that Kai may just be trying to get rid of those who threatened him. "Why do you bring this up, Kai?"

"Sometimes it's a good idea to make it clear who the boss is, you know?" he says. "And I'm just being practical. This place has an effect on people. Bullies tend to win out, and that's not much good to us."

Rand considers this.

"I assure you that I am in control here. Tell me, Kai, what were you sent here for?"

"Oh yeah, I can see the massive amounts of respect they have for you from parsecs away. And I'm just talking."

"Interesting, so you think we should make a certain demonstration before breaching the door? I like your conclusions. Perhaps we should tell others that if they have any concerns with our new allies such as you, they should take it to us?"

"That's a good start."

"That's a good start."

"Yes, but it will be difficult, as you shall see..."

Gallador will summon Rianna and Xavier to the conversation.

"My friends, you really should not threaten our new allies, that I, Rand and Azarl recruited to our cause. Next time please take the concerns to us. We cannot afford such squabbling, not in the current situation.

By the way Xavier, do you still have that stone that Adelmo's aide gave to you? I would like to borrow it for examination."

Rianna just looks at Gallador like he's insane and laughs.

"If you don't have anything important to say, then, I'll get back to what I was doing. You know, doing some actual work to get us out of here," she replies.

"Gallador I have no problems with the Kai as long as he pulls his weight. As for the stone I'll let you examine it friend when I can watch you examine it."

Xavier says very calmly then turns to the thief.

"Friend Kai I do believe my fellow partner Rand asked you a question if you do not mind I also have the same question?"

"I'll be sure to let Rand know if it is important."

Rand will grin rather smugly.

"This is what loyalty looks like," Rand says to Rianna and Xavier. "Our group could go SO much farther than it has if you and the others were simply willing to do my bidding."

"Have you told your friend here how it was that you managed to lose group leadership, hmm, Rand? Or have you conveniently forgotten that part?" Rianna replies.

"It is irrelevant at this point," Rand says. "My handling of the Citadel operation was flawed. But it is only those of strong of mind and in the Force that will bring us power as a group. Mettlesome bickering and violence will only stave off inevitable doom."

"It was flawed to the point of nearly getting several of us killed...yourself included. Why would you expect anyone to trust you in charge after that?" Rianna snaps back.

"Because I possess the power to lead," Rand says. He turns to the followers that they've gathered. "Tell me, Chun, who do you serve? And Orikan, who do you serve? I know where Mr. Feskin stands already..."

"And for once, Rand, you are the one causing the petty bickering you complain about so much. Do you want to get up to Red, or do you just want to play pointless power games all day?" Rianna says.

Galder is going to stand and watch, to see where this goes.
