USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

So Con is still on the search for scrap metal?

Also, why do you guys not strangle Kai to death, so far we don't know if he has any use for us, and he is definitely a danger for you four (Galder, Xavier, Dak and Rianna), from your point of view might he not be more use dead?

I think the problem there is that we would have wasted our time recruiting him and killing him would be a direct aversion to what Rand wants. This means animosity for our group and maybe Rand trying to use our new henchmen to attack the Psychos which could mean useless deaths (players included).

Azarl dislikes Kai for starting problems despite liking being considered a leadership figure. He will not voice his opinion of the thief though and he does not think the thief should die.

I can imagine the animosity. Kai seems somewhat bend on stirring trouble though, so if I was Rianna, for example, I'm not sure if I'd keep him around.

Con obviously doesn't know about what's going on atm, but if he did he wouldn't mind really, he's useful to a certain degree to both sides of the group, and doesn't mind following either.

We could use Con's talents with jamming the door open once we make our attack.

You moan about Kai starting trouble- but you started it when you threatened him.

You chose a smart survivalist and then made threats. You are reaping what you sowed.

Meanwhile, he's just the messenger. His underlying message is very true. In which respect, this is partly the psychos' fault for having been bullies for so long. But down here, the psychos are worth little. The worm turns.

I'm innocent, I never threaten anyone. I also like how he talks to the Psychos. But Xavier recruited a couple of our men, does that count for him or are they way outnumbered?

Well I was referring to those that did the threatening.

Your sway over the men is indeed proportionate to how much you contributed to recruitment.

Could we change that though? Through talking to them, actions on the battlefield or other circumstances?

Yeah, we're worth little down here, and yet it was Rand who got us all into trouble to begin with by openly using the Force, and I'd like to see how those three would have survived those fights without us...okay then.

And Bardock's right, they weren't the only ones working on recruiting people.

Nah, the recruiting thing is a done deal; the roll referred to the totality of your efforts over this period.

And well- now he has the army, Rand needs you less. You didn't lever your advantage whilst you had it. Now he might. You weren't going around thinking the Dark Side was fair, were you?

Fair enough.

Rand, Gallador, I just want to remind you that I've always (always) been loyal to you and only you...

Probably got to use persuade on this.

Rand isn't always going to have his little army with him...and we won't need them forever...

Rianna is mostly angry at some random outsider who is completely ignorant of this group's past spouting his opinions like they matter.

No, you are annoyed because he is succeeding...

And that is very true, of course. None of it is forever. But you may want to consider how you treat others who may subsequently have the power of life and death over you.

Hmph. Biding my time until he doesn't have that leverage over us any longer...

Oh before I forget, could my skill in sabotage be of use to us in the upcoming fight?

Only if you want that to be your prep roll.

What would that do? Just hypothetically. I think I should rather play to my strength in observation.

Whilst all this is going on Rah will be continuing to fabricate the tools/weapons for the offensive as if nothing is happening

Rah can't really comment on the group politics as he hasn't been with them long enough, however given their history together he will almost certainly side with Galder.

You'd need a pitch for it. A random example- mantraps.

"Just remember what it was that I saw in my vision, Rand...and remember that you won't always be surrounded by an army," Rianna says quietly to Rand. "Now, I am going to actually get some work done, so we can get out of here."

"We're losing whatever power we've had, in case you haven't noticed," she whispers to Galder after turning away from Rand.
