"She makes a point a mean we do only narrowly survive some things." Xavier says to Rianna before turning back to the girl.

"In some ways it sounds like you a bit frustrated trying to figure us out."

"I don't like this I don't understand. By rights you should all be dead."

"And not everything has to make sense nor be easily understood. Most of us should have been dead long before we even met each other," Rianna replies. "And yet multiple times the Force has dictated otherwise..."

"Tell me that awhile ago and I would have agreed, but here we are. Perhaps it is destiny."

"No, it wasn't that. There was no other hand that saved you. You saved yourselves. You forced your power to obey you and live. But why? Why do you bother? What are you aiming to be?"

"Me? Maybe if I ever figure it out I'll let you know, though don't hold your breath. And at any rate, why not? Should we just give up and not bother?"

"Without a purpose or point, I do not see why you bother at all."

"Truth be told if it was just about surviving we could probably go to some off beat planet and hunt for the rest of our lives alone. But perhaps we bother because we may not have found a purpose yet doesn't mean we don't have one or don't want one."

"Maybe part of why I bother is to try and find that oh-so-important purpose," Rianna simply says.

"But power is a word that means just as little. And it is hardly interesting, what one wants to do with the power that's what I'd like to know."

Gallador bows and adopts the respectful tone.

"Of course my Lady, I do not intend to question you, please forgive me,I was just interested in your opinion, you may well be the most formidable person I ever met, and you are do not have the Jedi or Sith training... this is fascinating.

But I think I understand unity. Unity comes from power of individual to influence minds and deeds of others. Jedi could not force unity and order to the galaxy because of their unwillingness to use the means availible to them and the Sith could not force unity among themselves."

"No," she says. "You do not understand. And you," she says, indicating Con, "are a fool."

She stands.

Rand hisses to Gallador.

"We cannot even begin to understand unity as a concept let alone as a source of power. Trying to tell her that we do borders on insulting... and Con, hold your tongue!"

He waits to see what Adelmo does next.

Con will rise too as a sign of respect and with a slight bow say "I know, but I am most grateful to learn"

"Time I was going," is all she says.

"It looks as if our conversation is coming to in end. Perhaps if we survive we can have another one." Xavier says to the woman.

"And you admit to not understanding either, so things look about even," Rianna says as the girl stands up to leave. "Waste of time..."

Don't confuse the girl and Adelmo, Peach. I have to strike that post from the record.

Oh. Oops. Easy to do when you didn't specify who was talking, since I'm apparently not the only one to have confused the two...😛
