USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

That guy has to be the person most uncomfortable with giving opinions outside their specific area of expertise ever.

On the other hand, probably better for us than him saying "Yeah sure, I guess the air will last" leading to us suffocating...

Pretty much waiting on you guys! What's the plan?

I'm not sure. We have our way out of the prison, it looks like. But things still depend on whether or not we're dithering around in the dark looking for Kuylen's corpse or if he made it out and we're giving chase.

Clutching at straws here I know? If we just go along the most obvious route, and if Kuylen fell (which I kinda doubt) we will probably find his corpse for the DNA along the way. Also being the tough nut that he was, perhaps he may have possibly made a path that the 'locals' are scared of treading making our way a little easier...

Why do you think Kuylen went down there?

It sounds like he was trying to escape the prison facility. As addressed before, Galder doesn't think he went bonkers.

And as you are here for Kuylen and have now established what he did, what choice do you have other than to try and follow him as closely as possible?

That sounds like the most logical thing to do!

As there isn't much more preparing to be done...

Between the charts of Blue and the geological survey map, could Almir help us plot a route to follow?

Sadly no- he's a geologist, not a navigator.

BUT... he says that if he was on black, he might be able to recognise the signs of a crevasse that would lead to the surface.

"Come with us, then," Galder says. "There's no place for you here unless you start learning to use a knife."

Now that we have some basis to think we can make it through Black, perhaps our allies could be persuaded to come as well?

Perhaps!

"Err, well, I mean... I understand," says Almir, "but there's the... dying of oxygen starvation thing..."

Rah replies to Almir "Look at it this way a knife to the gut is slow painful death, hypoxia is a painless, dreamy way to go and all being well we'll get you through using the air we're carrying because my friend you're worth looking after!"

"Wait... who's going to stab me?"

Could Almir possibly pass on the knowledge of how to spot a crevasse leading to the surface? Teach us lowly non-geologists what to look for.

At this point, a giant resounding "BWAAAAAAAAAAAAARK!" resonates through the level, revealing that Rand is trying to have a quiet word with Ranto.

-

Almir is quite insulted by that. There's one thing he is good at and he's damn well hanging onto that edge.

Rand will promptly palm his face before continuing his conversation.

"Just answer the question, Ranto," Rand says. "If you're amphibious, why don't you have any gills?"

-

The problem with bringing Almir is that he cannot hold his breath like we can. How can we get around that, Ush?

And when you say we have 16 uses of air... is that for everyone? How are you tracking it?

I don't know if we should really try to bring anyone with us out of the prison. The only reason Galder would do it is to trick our fighting types into helping us fight through Blue and then hogging the oxygen so they die and we live.

Relle will be nosy and come see what Rand wants with Ranto and why we still have him around.
