USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Living Force is good for the odd left/right., but it will never get you through a whole complex- especially when you don't know where you are going. You'll need a better plan.

I see you have already vetoed Persuade as being a means of cutting, getting one of the Emperor's enforcers to let us slide in toward the front.

Waiting will surely bring about the impatience of the killing squad that is the Psycho Brigade, yes? Half a day of waiting around, surrounded by annoying people...

Could we maybe find a means of getting maps for the sewer?

Yeah, Haron, I think jumping around quite obviously using the Force would be a quick way to get us killed. We are trying to be subtle until we get to the tax collector. Now it is just a means of getting there.

We need to figure out a way of navigating the sewers. Otherwise, we could try intercepting the speeder that the tax collector gets out of here in.

If it is a flying speeder, that's not much good.

No, you have no practical way to get a sewer map.

Could we maybe go by sound? I could imagine thousands of people walking towards one particular point could make a noticeable, perhaps followable sound.

Additionally, I'd like to look for a way into the sewer anyways just to see how confusing it really is, like I said I think sewers usually go mostly along streets. Additionally, if we have a way to find back, for example a string, like Theseus, or we could mark each turn with our sabres, or something, we could send 3 or 4 of us to check different routes. I'm sure we can cross 5 miles in under an hour, so it might save us a lot of time, additionally it is something to do while waiting. Ultimately if we waste 10 hours trying to find it I suppose the lines will be considerably shorter by then anyways.

That sort of sound quickly becomes a confused mess.

Oh lordy, I can see this going wrong.

Could I use savoir faire to find out more about the way the tax movements work or maybe about how the sewage lines are set up in a city like this?

Sadly no. SF gives you the customs and ways of this place and would enable you to fit in. It doesn't actually replicate locak knowledge of how things work.

Could we maybe hijack a few guard's outfits and make our way through the crowd that way?

(refers to to many responses on that matter above- it is NOT a matter of permission.)

Okay, I understand...

So...what if we bribe some of the people to let us pass through the cue?

😛

Gamesmaster raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage!

If you spread out in the sewers, likely one of you will find the way with a good force roll. It is getting you all together afetr that is tricky. Your group size does bring co-ordination problems.

But surely, it is not impossible to find a sewer worker in few hours? Then we shall lure or kidnap one. Gallador will ask around what he has to do if he wants to work in the sewers.

They are automated.

Can Gallador learn who is in charge on the systems? He will pretend to be businessman interested in buying the know-how of the system.

Whoever he is, he's somewhere in the queue.

Actually, is taxpayer going to wait for everyone in queue to get to him? If so, would it not be logical to end at the end, therefore when we reach him it is less crowded?

Otherwise, do you mean that sewers automats are maintained by computer system? Could person with fi-it break in?

Spread out in the sewers. We have commlinks, right?

In theoiry, but that doesn't help you get anywhre. Nor do comlinks.

"I've found it."

"Great! How do I get from here to there?"

"... I don't know..."

Well, as was mentioned before, we could use sabers to leave directional marks...
