Ohhh, those turrets could be a pain. And dangerous to the speeders as well.

Which side have we approached the square from? And how close to the dais do the buildings actually get?

You may choose what side you come from. However, the dais is in the middle of a Tianneman-sized square, so a LONG way.

This guy is obviously the best tax collector to ever exist.

If the taxees enter from the north, I assume the throne is facing north, so it might be best to approach from the south.

So a simple leap from the building onto the collector isn't going to work. We'd have to get through the crowds. That won't work.

Well, we do have flying speeders. While Galder makes his landing on top of the collecter, we can have one of the others grab the three of us off the rooftop, right?

His guards look in all directions though- and the crowd here is full of guards also.

And that's possible, Rianna, though that splits your group at the moment of striking. Those towers will have an excellent field of fire on someone hovering trying to get you as well.

They could fly by us, and with an awesome acrobatic effort we could grab onto the speeders and use them to drop right into the dais itself.

And awesome acrobatic efforts are something the three of us are quite good at.

The other idea I can think of is to try and sneak into the crowd here, but I don't think that'd work too well.

It's not impossible! Getting through the crowd in a giant square is more practical then through the narrow streets.

A good Strength score would help though. It would be Strength + Intrusion.

Yeah, you are a bit meek for crowd shoving.

And what are the odds like for using the speeders for a boost?

That depends on Pilot rolls and Agility rolls and the like.

Dak will go for shoving sneakily through the crowd, all Assassin's Creed-like.

...meek. Pretty sure that's the first time that's ever been used to describe Rianna.

I'd prefer to go with "flying speeder leap" myself. I feel much better relying on Agility rolls than Strength ones, obviously.

I think i'll also go with the flying leap to get down to the square.

Probably should inform the speeder group that we're in place, as well as the updated plan and the situation here, though since Dak wants to go crowd-crawling we probably should wait until he's close to the dais before having the speeder groups make their way here.

Maybe you should inform the speeder group so we can plan accordingly...

So, plan at the moment as it stands -

Rianna and Relle are in position up on the rooftops by the square. Dak is sneaking down and Altair-ing his way through the crowds. Once he gets close enough to the dais, we'll alert the speeder group that it's time to get over here. And one of the speeders needs to swing close enough to the building that us girls are waiting on top of that we can make a jump onto the speeder from it.

Rianna will let the speeder people know about that now, and that they should be ready to move soon as she tells them to. Unless anyone has any objections...in which case they can go to hell 😛 She'll also let them know how things are set up, and how to get there (assuming she can do that of course).

The most important part, if Dak does indeed split off and crowd-sneaks, is timing the speeder group's arrival with when he would reach the collector. I don't think it should take more than a few minutes for the speeder people to get to the square?

Relle could probably Altair it too, if she gets her acrobatic bonus. Honestly, if it's Strength + Intrusion, you could probably all do it. Sending just one person is an awful idea because they will get pinned down by themselves. Dak would be lizardpaste.

The tricky bit is accurately describing to the speeders where you are.
