USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Assuming that we make it to the towers without any problems, we could probably disable one or two of them pretty quickly. I think/hope.

Probably wouldn't be too subtle climbing them, how tall are they? Jumpable?

How difficult would it be to knock one over with Super Lifting?

...I don't know why this question amuses me so much, but it does.

Blow a Force point into it and you may be able to. It's the standing still and being shot whilst doing it part that is tricky.

Jumpable to a good roll.

I think, the spidey group should destroy the turrets before we get there, quietly and subtly of course, then we get there and havoc rains down upon the tax-collector and his throne

Doing that quietly will be near impossible- at the corners of the dais, the towers are in full view of everyone.

Somehow I doubt lightsabering turrets that are guarded with a ton of other guards around is going to be subtle in any way 😛

well... maybe if all the guards agreed to be real quiet while you were killing them xD

Wouldn't THAT be nice! The issue is more being very obviously seen, though.

This is proving to be more difficult than anticipated. Are the speeders durable enough to simply run over the towers and knock the gunners off?

No. Nor are the people in them.

how about the spidey team looks down the street to see the speeders coming and about 30 seconds before they get there (estimated) they jump down and start the attack then the flyers come in and land behind the throne, blocking access for direct escape, then attack

Team Spidey can't get to the tax collector right from the building sadly. But I agree with you in theory. If they start the attack, after pushing through the speeders should have a better chance.

Con can definitely try shooting at the tower people, I don't think that would hurt. Or we can try Xavier piloting it slower and Con using agility to jump down. Additionally to team spidey attacking.

We're at the square, but Ush said that the dais (and hence the towers) isn't exactly near the buildings. And sadly, we can't fly. So simply jumping isn't going to get us where we need to go, we still need to make our way through the crowds.

I'm almost willing to wait for Team Spidey to just come back since they've done their scout work. They're our group with the impressive Agility scores, they'd be able to leap out onto the gun towers and wreck everything no problem.

Except that's a whole new set of Acrobatics and Intrusion rolls that they'd need to pass to get back to us without being caught. How dumb would it be if they were coming back and they got caught and a fight broke out before speeder group even left?

We just need to give them a good target. Are they going for the gun towers, guards in the crowd, or the tax collector himself?

Indeed, would need the rolls all over again to go back out!

Spidey team could always try waiting in line. The wait from there is about an hour. Whether they can wait that long is another question.

It'd drop their chances of getting blown to tiny pieces before we get there... and I'm sure Dak or Rianna wouldn't mind getting the opportunity to go stabby on the tax collector before anyone else.

So now it is more an issue of trying to get the gunners. Con and Gallador and Haron all have an Agility of 4 and so a Leaping pool of 8. They have a better chance of making it than everyone else. Still leaves one tower unattended.

Are the gun emplacements Heavy Weapons?

Yes.

You are still assuming you get to the towers in your speeders.

That's true... they could get shot down in the process, in which case much of our plan is completely buggered.

Could we zip into the square and land them somewhere outside the dais that would keep them safe from the turrets?
