Okay. I'll maintain my action for now. Last turn and this turn she will be firing on Pikeman A. With Eagle Eye she should have no trouble shooting targets that engage Rianna or Dak.

Okay then, Azarl will have Orthodox Guard and Charge in too.

Azarl is going to follow Galder to the North gallery and flip a guard over the rails.

Moving around the crowded areas will mean strength rolls, and even then it may well take time to get from A to B!

What if we just move with the Epireans, then? Count on their muscle to shove through the crowd.

They moved easily through a 4; a 7 will be harder.

Hmm. I think my initial plan of sticking together will work better, then. Gives us more opportunity to push through and take down guards instead of splitting our efforts and possibly getting less kills.

Galder will go to UVG South with the Epireans, leading the charge.

Dak will lay into Pikeman A.

Does the crowd affect using Charge?

Or Eagle Eye, for that matter?

Okay, so cancel my move officially. Galder is moving to UVG South and killing guards (or civilians, whichever gets in his way first).

I'm mildly confused - did Rianna and Dak recover their lightsabers or not, then? I'm guessing yes since the loadouts and the fact that it's showing our saber scores would point towards it, but there was no actual mention of if we did so or not...

Either way, Rianna will start dismembering Pikeman B (both the owed action and this current one).

Only in that you have to make Strength rolls to move if it is too crowded.

Forward Guard is full-on offensive, Rah- I was thinking about taking something to protect yourself with!

I think the idea is not going down and leaving all those guards alive above us, but maybe next turn we can go down a level so that it's easier for Azarl and Gallador to get their lightsabers and be more useful.

Azarl will go to the south upper gallery then and try to engage a guard.

2-2 on the initiative roll switches it to you!

First off, let's catch up from before. Relle opens fire at Pikeman A, though I'm having you fire with a standard loadout right now as I still need to have confirmed what sort of guns people are carrying. You roll what I can only call 'like crap', but one hit is enough to do decent damage with Both Guns Blazing. Oh, Eagle Eye does indeed mean you can ignore the crowd when firing.

Dak and Rianna, sabred up, then go for A and B respectively. Perfect Strike gives Rianna the turn's bragging rights ans it converts a 1 to a success giving her 8 successes to Dak's seven.

Now the round begins!

Trogan and friends head south, but getting to melee range is extremely difficult in the dense panic. They only cut down three guards.

Galder makes a strength roll... one success. You are through but didn't reach a target. One success for Azarl also, at Galder's side. And Rah also! Lots of 1s! And then Rand matches it also, which is more impressive for him. No sign of the sabre- will have to get much closer!

I'll hold Xavier and Gallador's actions- only one hold allowed, remember- as they might want to react to what others did. Con can open fire though. Closest is immensely vague so his target is random. He fires down at the guards below; one shot is a total cock-up and the other is a kill.

J7 fires that way as well, not giving a damn what Rand said. A kill! Rura is giving covering fire for Galder, but his firing style is not as precise and he manages instead to kill a bunch of civilians.

Relle fires away at Pikeman A, giving Dak a kill, and another seven successes from Rianna hacks her target to death also. Thw two normal guardsman turn in shock at the sudden deaths of two of their fellows at the hand of a third, who then promptly shoots those two dead also.

A Pikeman then engages each of you! Relle takes a hit, the one against Rianna rolls like a demon for a heavy hit also, whilst the one attacking Dak cocks up entirely and ends up with his own pike sliced in half. Not going to be that easy for Dak though- seeing what happened, the staffman twirls his staff and moves to engage the reptile... He rolls three successes on his opening volley, though the Balanced Guard works aginst those staves in a way it does not against the Pikes (lucky the Pikeman muffed his thrust!)

Seven guards at upper south fire at the Epireans but only manage to kill one, as the crowd gets in the way. Another then from location below fire, kill two more and thin the crowd further. Eight at lower west fire up at their attackers... then ten more fire over from Upper North. You guys out west are feeling exposed! And those irritating people around you have not even had the good sense to stay alive very much, as most of them have now been shot down getting in the way.

Ten guards and a Pikeman advance from Lower North to the trophy cases. The angle is awkward for the shooters but they manage two shots each at Rianna, Dak and Relle.

The eastern guards can't quite get targets through the crowds and so split, half going north and half south. However, the crowds mean this will take them a bit so they are not there yet.

Now the melee guards at the floor are moving. Those West and South start to climb up towards the invaders. Those east move to the petitioners, towards the larger group of enemies. The western ones get up easily, but the southern ones are caught in the crowd. That leaves another five shooters at both south and west. Another Epirean falls as the crowd there is thinned greatly also.
